I love good Oi, but that, my friend, is not good. Also, that has to be one of the most homoerotic sounding band names ever. Tell me Ten Hole Bootboys doesn't sound like the title of a gay gang bang porn.

I'm going to agree with TireIron here. (there's a first for everything)

It's really run of the mill.

What's with the recording?? I realize, maybe I'm not being "punk rock" but the quality is not good. You can get a decent recording REALLY cheap in this day and age. The mix is abhorrent. The drums are SOOOO far up front.

Never said they were revolutionary, but only that they were decent. I would listen to an album from them. I think the band has a connection to Boot Party, a band I really like. I believe a member of the band played in Boot Party.

I will admit the name does sound like a gay gang-bang flick.

I like them ok, but the recording is so awful it's really hard to judge. It might sound totally different put together better.
Ok- now i'm listening to 2 nights of glory. It sounds like they aren't really into it.

I know you weren't touting them as the next coming of Blitz or anything, but knowing that you actually like Boot Party makes me understand why you might like them. I always thought Boot Party were incredibly bad, as in, so bad I had moments where I could almost convince myself that they were a joke band and not just a joke of a band.

And Discipline, I'm really not trying to come down on you today, I hope you don't think that. I just can't let shit slide, not even for one of my Thorp brothers from way way back.

No worries. I didn't think you were coming down on me. We have many bands we like in common, but just as many we differ on. It's going to happen, especially with how opinionated we both are. :roll:
