Madball signs to Ferret

Im definately not a fan of many bands on that label, but a new Madball album is a new Madball album.

Of all the labels out there I don't know why they picked such a shitty one.

crazyfists28 - 4-28-2005 at 06:55 PM

they've been on so many it probably becomes a crap shoot...but why not thorp?

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 4-28-2005 at 07:10 PM

Ferret prolly had the most money to offer.

thedog - 4-29-2005 at 03:28 AM

it's Madball... so i will buy it no matter what label its on.
but its a shame it not on thorp though.

THORP - 4-29-2005 at 04:51 AM

Madball rules. They will always rule.

I still think Thorp was the better home for a varietyof reasons, but the peeps at Ferret are good people and I wish Madball all the success in the world. I hope they triple their sales and become more successful then ever.

Madball is just one of those bands that I will always buy. I loved Hold it Down and Demonstrate My Style. Just calssic. I will always support them and buy their albums just like Cyndy Lauper......oh God........I've been outted............shit...............

Ferret has a pretty good infrastructure to support their bands and Carl's a good guy, say what you will about their bands. I like some of them myself. One of my alumni, The Banner, are doing their next release with them. Freddy & Hoya will no doubt do an amazing record.

Speaking of which, how would you cats feel about a DVD of the recent NYHC Superbowl w/Madball, SOIA, NRSV, Skarhead etc. ? We filmed that whole show the same way we did Sheer Terror w/ 4 cams, a protools mix etc. I'm probably going to release it on Blackout! in the USA and look for licensing overseas.

Thoughts anyone?
