exactly why i don't have a personal account. my wife created one - she had 25 friend requests in 24 hours, all people from her HS class, few of whom she was actually friends with. weird.

what about Twitter...you guys on that yet? My new boss is all about new tech and social networking so we get paid to surf facebook, myspace, twitter and other shit I haven't even heard about yet.

matty - myspace and youtube had similar language in the past and there was a HUGE uproar about it all. honestly, that's one of the reasons we waited so long to get involved with either. we can go handing over rights to our bands' music just because it's on a friggin mysapce page!

jonny - we are just started to get more involved with twitter now, too. hook it up: http://twitter.com/ThorpSGR

I started a facebook and deleted it the next day. I like myspace better and don't want to start all over.

I am in Recruiting. I use facebook more then Monster. I have about 230 "friends". I use it to communicate when I have jobs I'm looking to fill. I also enjoy it.

I am new at Twitter. I'm just not sold on its usefulness.

I mainly use Myspace for band info.

I'm on Facebook and Myspace. I rarely go on either of them. They're kinda useless to me. I went on Facebook last week because someone had requested a friendship or whatever, and I had almost 100 requests to be a part of a "food fight" or join some sort of social justice group or make a "little green patch". I don't really see the point. And yes, people who I never spoke to in school have sent friend requests. I accept them, but I never send messages to them to see how they're doing. I honestly don't really care too much.

my girlfriend is always on the fuckin thing so i figured id see what all the hoot was about.

looks like BD was right. from a news article...

After a wave of protests from its users, the Facebook social networking site said on Wednesday that it would withdraw changes to its so-called terms of service concerning the data supplied by the tens of millions of people who use it.

Terms of Use UpdateClose
Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the Facebook Blog.

If you want to share your thoughts on what should be in the new terms, check out our group Facebook Bill of Rights and Responsibilities.
