i listened to 26 seconds of that new song(not that i know any of their old songs)
it sounds like what i thought it would

I'm a fan, and I am not impressed. Not sure what they are doing here. Trying to be a thrash/death band now? I'll still take Destroy the Machines over anything they've done since.

I had a hard time getting into their studio stuff. I absolutely love the live album. It may be in my top 5 of all time. The opening with Sunshine Of Your Love or what ever and then transitions directly into a very punishing second song.

I clearly don't know the names of the songs because I can barely make out a word. Either way, the music is punishing.

That song wasn't all that interesting.

I used to really like this band. I listened to Destroy the Machines and Gomorrah's Season Ends nonstop. They got really bad though. That rapcore album... I only listened to half of it. Not sure what I did with it, but what made them think that was a good idea?

clevohardcore - 2-24-2009 at 09:53 PM

I FUCKING LOVE THIS. YOU FUCKING MADE MY DAY CR AND TO TOP IT OFF, THIS SONG KICKS ASS.

A fan since day 1. Lost some interest in the stuff they put out in 1998, but this new shit really is great. Can't wait for the record.

Firestorm and Breed The Killers is all I ever really got into by them.

DaveMoral - 2-24-2009 at 10:01 PM

I'll probably give the album a chance, it looks like they are steering clear of Sliter and the whole Freya thing. So for that, I am grateful.

Still, Destroy the Machines is their best effort ever. The live album is good too, for sure. I'm going to have to spin DtM now..

No not for me.

They were good live though.

MM.

Pioneers my ass. They've been trying to take credit for vegan straight edge for years now.

Vegan Reich, Raid and Statement all have that claim locked. Undisputed.

panzerkreuzer - 2-25-2009 at 05:23 AM

the new has has a lot of energy, but it has same problem as the most bands nowadays have, itīs not catchy. no good chorus to shout with, no melodies. you listen the 3 or 4 minutes to it and then i ask myself if i remember anything of it and the answer is no.
and why the hell has a hc song to longer than 2 minutes?

JawnDiablo - 2-25-2009 at 07:23 AM

poop

BDx13 - 2-25-2009 at 09:16 AM

the only thing i have is the live album, which i like.

clevohardcore - 2-25-2009 at 12:42 PM

It seems every band has some sort of BIO now a days but they do have history and that you can embellish. They are however the most popular of the so called vegan bands.

necrobutcher - 2-25-2009 at 06:26 PM

Worst band in hardcore by my count. They sound like uncomplicated metal to me.

newbreedbrian - 2-25-2009 at 06:51 PM

people still give a shit about this awful band? really?

mattybar - 2-25-2009 at 07:41 PM

i like everything up until to Gomorrah's Season Ends.
i only recently checked out Conviction who shared a guitarist with the christian metal band Believer.
His name escapes me right now but same dude produced Destroy The Machines and from what i'm told DTM sounds like he ghost-wrote it haha

i haven't checked out Believer yet but definitely curious.
Definitely feeling Conviction.

clevohardcore - 2-25-2009 at 08:37 PM

the guitars on DTM are sound like they were played on a shitty crate guitar amp. Still awesome record though.
