Anybody like these guys? The only song I ever knew by them was that Tubthumping song that was a big hit several years back, and I was not a fan. A friend sent me a bunch of their albums and they're pretty damn good. They have an album named Anarchy that I've been listening to like crazy for the last week. It's really damn good. Their oldest stuffis more punk, but over the years they've blended a lot of musical styles together and made it sound really good.

Crass.

I never gave them a chance because of that terrible song that was played on the radio.

They were around for years and years before the "hit." They were part of the Crass collective who were always more on the "pop side." I'm under the impression they gave a good amount of the proceeds from that to causes they supported.

And as far as "pop"/"dance" radio hits, I think it's a pretty excellent song.

I didn't like the hit single, but the other stuff I've listened to has been damn good.

I get knocked down
But I get up again
Youre never gonna keep me down

...Lyrically it sounds like 90% of Hardcore songs to me. Musicaly, there are definitely worse songs on the radio.

Saw them way back before the hit song came out and it was the biggest hippie nonsense I've ever seen. There were barefoot women in flowing dresses twirling around through the crowd handing out flowers. The music was terrible and the attitude was beyond obnoxious. On the other hand, had the tubthumping song not been ridiculously overplayed, I might have thought it was halfway decent for the pop type thing it was...
