Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

What magazines do you read?

BDx13 - 3-2-2009 at 11:20 AM

Anyone still read music mags?

I've had subscription to This Old House and Sound and Vision for years, but I'm thinking of letting them run out his year. They just keep stacking up.

barc0debaby - 3-2-2009 at 11:39 AM

Thrasher and MAD is about all I ever faithfully read, but I do have a subscription to Time right now.

I have a subscription to Men's Health, but I'll occassionally pick up Truckin, Maxum, consumer reports, and Time.

clevohardcore - 3-2-2009 at 01:09 PM

Mens Health. Thats it. THe wife has a Parenting magazine and Paula Dean subsciption. THe PD sub is ending though. That sub is $30 for only 6 issues. Fucking stupid. I went off when I found out how much it was.

Men's Fitness. I am letting it lapse. Tired of the ads and all the bullshit about clothes. I want workout and diet info and that's it

JawnDiablo - 3-2-2009 at 02:16 PM

^^^^^^^ I agree 100%. The clothing and regular ads are out of hand on both mens health and mens fitness..

DaveMoral - 3-2-2009 at 03:00 PM

Kung Fu Tai Chi Magazine is all I read regularly. I really should subscribe... it'd be cheaper, and I'd get a free shirt.

necrobutcher - 3-2-2009 at 05:26 PM

Rue Morgue

XHonusWagnerX - 3-2-2009 at 06:39 PM

XBOX Magazine. I bought 2 issues in stores, but they are $9.99 each cause they come with a disc of demo games (most of which you can get free by downloading them from XBox Live) then I subscribed and I got 2 years for $35.00.

Voodoobillyman - 3-2-2009 at 07:15 PM

ol skool rodz was my last subscription but I let it run out.

Mark Lind - 3-2-2009 at 08:26 PM

Rolling Stone. For a while it turned into a shark sandwich but I started checking it out again this past fall and their election coverage was great. So I re-subscribed after years of being an anti-fan. It makes for great reading on the shitter.

JawnDiablo - 3-2-2009 at 08:30 PM

nobody said HUSTLER?

Yup.

And I have a script for Cosmo which when I get it, goes straight to on top of the can.

tireironsaint - 3-2-2009 at 10:26 PM

I usually pick up Rue Morgue, Juxtapoz, and Hi-Fructose at the news stand, but I just signed up for a sub with Rue Morgue. I'll occasionally grab a tattoo magazine if it's got some really good shit in it, but I don't get those nearly as often as I used to. It's incredibly rare that I find a music magazine that's worthwhile anymore, the last one I loved was Hit List and that went under years ago.

I used to love Hustler until Flynt got a little too heavy handed with his I hate George Bush shit.

The only one I still keep an eye out for in the world of porno magazines is Hustler Taboo.

Six66Mike - 3-3-2009 at 02:54 AM

I used to get BW&BK but then I moved and they stopped adding CD's in every copy so I stopped.

Used to read Nexus and Hard Evidence when I had time, Dissent! sometimes as well.

joey - 3-3-2009 at 03:13 AM

^^^^^^^^ Not a bad mag thats for sure. I read it all the time at the school library. They seem to be pretty good with the underground bands too. The ones that sound like shit but at least they are somewhat new. They definitely need a good band or 2 in there once in a while. It would be cool to read about your bands though. Then I can namedrop and say I know these guys. In a, I never met you, but could have a beer with you and not feel like a bitch kind of way.

XnMeX - 3-3-2009 at 06:46 PM

Game Informer
Popular Science
