Just booked a flight to spend 4 days in Dublin. 20GBP round trip, including taxes (and half of that was a surcharge for paying with a debit card).
The trip to the airport will cost more than the flight, and so will the hostel. Europe is fucking awesome!!!Discipline - 3-11-2009 at 08:38 PM
I can't wait to get there in June.bombidol - 3-11-2009 at 09:56 PM

there is a slight chance i might be in london this summer or fall.
new york to dublin for 110
1 way based on round trip so 220....BDx13 - 3-12-2009 at 04:14 PM
ugh, that's tempting.
when we lived in nyc in the 90s, we'd got r/t to london for $250.
we've seriously gone for the weekend.
biggest issue now is the kids.
leaving them with the grands for several days is doable, but asking a lot.panzerkreuzer - 3-12-2009 at 04:16 PM
these are really cheap prices. new york -hamburg, a little bit more than 100 euros. i pay nearly the same if i take a train from essen to hamburg...bombidol - 3-12-2009 at 04:16 PM

i can't believe my drunk purchase has gotten so much attention.
shawn -- ryanair.com. round-trip was, i think, 10.01 with taxes. then almost another 10 "debit card surcharge". ryanair is notorious for being dirt
cheap but charging for everything... they've recently tossed around the idea of charging a pound to piss on the flight. there's an airline in the US
that i've heard similar things about (cheaper than jet blue and airtran, but charges for every add-on). i'm also under the impression ryanair has
some ultra comfortable seats they charge out the ass for, which also allows them to basically give away seats to cheap fuckers like me.
bombidol... i'm open for suggestions around the city and meeting up for some drinks. let me know.
and i think the idea of the thorp board retreat in dublin is awesome. luca can finally finish the shirt design, and we can all wear our XXL thorp
warriors shirts on our tour of the guinness brewery!!!random - 3-12-2009 at 10:03 PM
