Killthehumans - 5-6-2005 at 11:54 AM

I have a question....I got a black flag tattoo like 2 months ago and plan on doing some bodybuilding this summer(im a skinny dude) will the tattoo stretch? should i wait to get other tattoos AFTER i gain muscle so they dont stretch?

MENTALxRUSS - 5-6-2005 at 12:01 PM

it might stretch but i don't think it's anything you will notice... cause trust me i have two half sleeves and i use to be a skinny dude and i've been working on building up a bit and well they don't look any different to me...

You would have to get fucking huge before you would see it.

Indeed! I know this girl who got a tattoo on her stomach... then a few months later she got pregnant and she got fucking huge!. Her tattoo got really stretched out with Stretch Marks going through it.. nasty!

GOLD GRILL - 5-6-2005 at 06:24 PM

yeah, unless you get pregnant you don't have much to worry about. I was 190 when I got my first tattoos on my arms and I went up to 230. My arms were like 2 inches bigger and I could never tell the difference in my tattoo.

ManMadePsycho - 5-6-2005 at 11:18 PM

You really dont see a difference in tattoos as long as your body is fully grown. If your like 13 and you get a tattoo....yes thats gonna stretch and be a little weird looking say when your around 19-20...that and you prolly wont put too much muscle mass on. Unless your slammin protein drinks everday...lol

I no I sound like a jock, but ive been power lifting since i was around 12 so I have a little up on some people about this shit...

ENDERA.x - 5-7-2005 at 11:29 AM

im jsut thinkin about gettin one on my right calf or inner forearms, im skinny so and I wanna work out more before you know, just in case they would stretch, although I'm not so certain I wanna get any on my arms anyhow. Chest and upper back are where it's at for me. and inner forearms i guess but I have small forearms so thats the pits.

alotta my crew are gettin this, Amicitia Consecratio Vires Vindicta
(Friendship Dedication Strength Deliverance)
matches the ancient Latin symbol we use.

i'm bumping this to ask if you have a picture haha

BDx13 - 5-9-2005 at 12:50 AM

i've gotten fatter and fatter and mine haven't stretched.

CR83 - 5-9-2005 at 12:15 PM

You shouldn't have a problem. Unless you grow at a crazy rate of speed. That is only accomplished via steroid use and you still don't run that big of a risk.

Killthehumans - 5-9-2005 at 04:04 PM

maybe ill take an "after" picture after the summer

CR83 - 5-9-2005 at 04:17 PM

How are you going to approach your weightlifting? I lift 3 times a week and run 2 to 3 and play hockey. I'm always interested in hearing what other people do to bulk up. Just please don't ask "how much cha bench?"

Im with ya there man! I hate when people judge you on how much you bench, or the size of your biceps...its bullshit...I dont base all my lifting on benching...Infact I rarely bench...I work legs and back more than anything...But I supose people need to go through a few years of trial and error to find out how that shit really works eh?

CR83 - 5-10-2005 at 01:37 PM

Yeah it takes time for sure. I hate those fuckers who think it's all about "how much cha bench" shit. Fucking Meat Heads. It more about health and taking care of yourself. Best of luck man and let me know if you are looking for info. I'm studying to be a trainer.
