Savage band. Are they still active? cant see any tour dates etc?

tireironsaint - 4-10-2009 at 08:03 PM

Far as I know they're still going, I really hope so as I fucking LOVE that band and still haven't managed to see 'em live. Last I heard was that they had recorded another full length right around the same time as this last one, but it still hasn't surfaced.

MarkV - 4-10-2009 at 08:41 PM

I'm pretty sure the members are scattered around (1 in Europe, 1 on the west coast) and they haven't really played in a while.

bombidol - 4-10-2009 at 08:46 PM

we need to track them down for shows then. Thorp crew assemble!

DeathByForce - 4-10-2009 at 09:36 PM

New album leaked online, unfortunately for them.

From what I heard, there were plans for this year of doing some tour dates.

JawnDiablo - 4-10-2009 at 10:57 PM

they're a crazy band.
i dig em

Discipline - 4-10-2009 at 11:24 PM

I'd love a new album and a tour. These guys are insane on cd, I'd love to see their live show.

I'd say for a band like them/their size, their album leaking isn't really unfortunate.

DeathByForce - 4-10-2009 at 11:47 PM

I only mean in the sense that it doesn't even have a release date.

Plus they're only big in magnitude in, say, Germany. I couldn't tell you how many people I've introduced to them.

bombidol - 4-11-2009 at 09:35 AM

Whos putting the new record out?

Voodoobillyman - 4-11-2009 at 11:38 AM

Love these guys!

Mark Lind - 4-11-2009 at 01:34 PM

I don't think it's a "new" record per se. They recorded two albums at the same time.... or very close to the same time. Sailor's Grave released one of them. The other is still in the can.

My understanding is that they're done but I hope not.

The first upright bassist for Kings Of Nuthin Spike Katz was in an amazing Rockabilly band called The Racketeers. Michah from The Pinkerton Thugs would also go on to play and record on The Racketeers second CD called "Another Round With..." he sang lead on the song "Duck and Cover". Check them out at the two links below and enjoy!

I saw Torr at a car show a few weeks back. I am pretty sure they are putting out a new album and doing some shows later this year. Necro is doing a new band called Cotton Donekey Revue (or something like that). My band played a show with them down in NC last summer. Pretty entertaining!! I am looknig forward to more KINGS OF NUTHIN!!

Vanilla Gorilla - 8-19-2009 at 01:52 PM

a new Kings of Nuthin album would be fucking sweet, they are so god damn good

bombidol - 8-19-2009 at 08:50 PM

Someone needs to release Old habits die hard, their unreleased record. its fucking amazing. the last song is possibly the greatest thing they have ever written. The ultimate break up song!

ChadBeantown - 8-23-2009 at 03:03 PM

The new Cd will be coming out next month!!! Shows will be coming as well. But, Liam fell off a truck and hurt himself pretty bad so it will be a little while before shows.

tireironsaint - 8-23-2009 at 03:32 PM

Sucks that Liam got hurt, but I can't wait for that album to come out! That's great news!

bombidol - 8-24-2009 at 07:15 AM

Are you fucking serious? Holy god damn shit. You just made my year. Talk to me about shows here and England.

bombidol - 8-27-2009 at 07:41 AM
