Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband's real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.

I don't think this story is getting nearly enough coverage. It is absolutely corrupt. She offers to get the FDIC $25 billion dollars on Oct 30th, her husband signs a contract from the FDIC on Nov 13th for the company CBRE. Her husband's private investment firm purchases 10 million in shares in this company that he serves as board chairman on in that two week window. The couple states "didn't even know about CBRE's business with FDIC until after it was awarded"

UN FUCKING REAL. I heard something along these lines but did not understand what was being said because I was doing something else at the time. It will be interesting wheat comes of this.

Oh and Senator Feinstein does not even serve on any of the committees related to the FDIC. She went out of her way to get the legislation passed.

Too bad Jello didn't beat her in that mayoral campaign back in the day.
