still haven't heard the last DKM. thought about buying it the other day in the virgin, but opted against it.

My opinion on it is there are some very strong tracks, and very weak tracks. Nothing really in the middle. CD is still worth getting for the good tracks IMO.

yeah totally agree
no middle ground at all
i either love the song or i think it blows

Is it just me or did Al Barr seem to disappear on that last album. I swear almost every song had Ken Casey singing which killed the album for me. I wanna hear Al damnit.

DeathByForce - 5-10-2005 at 08:51 PM

yeah, definitely too much Kenny.

If you watch the DVD you see how awkward Al gets when he's not singing.. he just sorts struts his stuff around stage haha

clevohardcore - 5-11-2005 at 11:57 AM

I wonder why?

The best part of that day is that it's my daughter's birthday and as I mentioned before, I'll get to be there with her for it!

As for that last Murphys record, I had to see them play it live before I picked it up. From the time I first heard them (right after the split with The Ducky Boys came out) until just after the first full length with Al, they were my favorite band. After that they kinda lost me, it seemed like they spread themselves a bit thin by trying to do EVERYTHING, but they're still an amazing band and Blackout is worth picking up. I keep meaning to grab the DVD too....
