Coolest punk/hardcore personalities

Johnny Rotten - he's a legend, made lots of great music & he knew the Sex Pistols sucked at the end (ever get the feeling you've been cheated)

Johnny Ramone - reached legend status, inspired tons of kids to play guitar & he was a republican. He held his opinions even though they were not the popular ones in the scene. That's punk!

Greg Ginn - started a crucial punk label, played for a legendary band but played what he wanted even if it wasn't what people wanted from Black Flag. Plus he doesn't seem to want any reunion money or spotlight.

I am a little surprised your fave isn't in that list.

I always though Jello was pretty cool. But I am tired of that now.

Sweeney from Dead Pets (and formerly Everbody Out) is pretty amazing as a front man and entertainer and overall good guy.

ginn did a "reunion" not that many years back....it was around the time when henry did the west memphis 3 thing(which ruled by the way)....ginn played it off like all types of past members were involved, morris, dez, chavo, chuck, robo, ect....in the end it was ginn and robo with that mike v dude singing....i knew people who flew out to see it because up until the last min. it was advertised as such.....oh and it was 2 nights...the first night was ginn, some dude on bass, mike v and a drum machine doing the whole my war record.....it was a benifit for some animal shelter type deal so i dont think he did it for the money....but supposedly no one agreed to do this deal and he continued to say that everyone was involved

Jimmy Gestapo - he's basicly single handedly been Murphys Law for over 20 years now, he used to play so hard he wore knee pads on stage, hes a NYHC icon!
