i saw this about a week ago but forgot to post it.
amazing that that scenario was caught on film.
i'm humbled by the tremendous bravery and dedication of those men.

i saw online people were knocking him for not being prepared or for becoming more of a target in his red shirt. whatever. it's an outpost, they take shifts. i get the point about the red, but ya know what... the bad guy already saw them! easy to criticize from the comfort of your lazyboy, innit, internet peeps?

When you stand-to you don't take time to put your pants on, period. The guy did exactly what he was supposed to do, better a fashion victim than the other kind.

I salute his shorts as well.

Joking aside, as much as I take issue with a lot of the reasons wars have been fought, the heart and strength of soldiers, particularly ours, never ceases to amaze me.
