MM, with just a brief overview of the stuff you listen to the fact that you're not into Merauder kind of puzzles me...

While not all of their catalog is solid...Master Killer is basically the high water mark of metallic hardcore...period.

Ya I can see where you are coming from. A lot of people say that to me. I don't know what I was never that into them, maybe I just never gave them enough of a chance. I can say however, after hearing this song that is going to change.

Definitely check out Master Killer MM. Not my favorite style of hardcore by any means, but that album is fucking solid.

Five Deadly Venoms was one of the first hardcore records I picked up among other things. Merauder put out some great shit.

that´s right! and it´s the first time that merauder have a good sound. in my opinion all their cds have a bad production that lacks of power. if masterkiller had a sound lioke this song, even mm would love the record.

YA they always seemed like a band that was busy with outside issues like living and the band was always a side project. So they did write good songs but didn't give a shit about the recordings. Maybe it was a label or band that hiring engineers and studios that sucked. I have no idea but you are right. They never really had good recordings. BLUETALITY sounded decent recording wise, but the music sucked wiener.

I'm surprised these guys have never toured here .... I'm not sure if there's a reason like them having a bad rep with bookers or whatever. But like, madball bringing out death before dishonor on tour here ... and not many people knowing them? It's seems strange.
