Leaving Friday morning for Austin. Staying two night nights and coming home on Sunday. Screeching Weasel are playing Friday night and The Riverdales
on Saturday night at Emo's. Staying at a nice Marriott Residence Inn just 4 block away from the venue. That way we can drink beers at the hotel
before going to the show. The only that sucks is that it's been almost 100 degrees everyday for more than a week now. The show is on an outdoor stage.
I have been waiting since 1991 to see SW again.

I've never seen either band live, but I loved the Riverdales!! Screeching Weasel is awesome too...
My dad was in Deer Park Texas for work for the last 6 weeks. Hes back home for this week, but goes back again next week. He said the heat sucks!!! He
also wasnt very thrilled that aparently Deer Park is a 'dry county'

Deer Park is dry. That's weird. It's right next to Pasadena, Texas. Pasadena was where the world famous Gilley's honky tonk was.

Back home now. Tired as fuck. Slept about 9 hours all weekend. It was hot as fuck. It was over 100 yesterday. The shows were great. Screeching Weasel
played more old song than I though they would, which was great. I didn't take any pictures because it was too hot to get close.
