THe ACCUSED- 88 era
SUICIDAL TENDENCIES- JOIN THE ARMY tour
SICK OF IT ALL - when the released blood sweat and no tears
BAD BRAINS - just after I AGAINST I
CIRCLE JERKS- I agree with above. Although I though wild in the streets was a awsome record and would like to see them play that.
7SECONDS- during 85 or 86. Just before walk together rock together.
CRO MAGS-when they were completely together and toured
GBH- during city babies records. To here stuff like SICK BOY and GIVE ME FIRE.

I also wish I was at the DESCENDENTS show for the LIVEAGE record. I LOVE THAT FUCKING RECORD.

GOOD THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)

I know some of these bands are still around, but they really would need to be on the lineup of my fantasy show:

Warzone
Skarhead
Madball
25 ta life
Merauder

JawnDiablo - 5-13-2005 at 10:36 PM

a few of them played about a month ago @ the superbowl.....

JawnDiablo - 5-13-2005 at 10:44 PM

bad brains at their earliest best
sheer terror 89 lineup
napalm death with lee dorrian mentally murdered era
blood for blood current (why not)
sam hain inituim time period
marky mark and the funky bunch..i hear hes making a comeback
motorhead late 70s (overkill / no sleep till hammersmith)
suicidal 1983
DRI dealing with it era

i could go on and on if i were sober enough to compose a rational thought.......

clevohardcore - 5-13-2005 at 11:55 PM

OOOOOOO fuck ya. DRI in the mid 80's THAT IS ONE A DIFINITELY FORGOT. Good call.

newbreedbrian - 5-14-2005 at 12:16 AM

bad religion on the suffer tour would have rocked too. still got my vhs tape of that tour that they put out years ago. articles of faith with black market baby and the lewd would be a pretty kickass show too

Now I remember why I'm in a band with you;) It would have to be one of the replacements shows where they got really drunk and only played covers that they didn't know- "I am iron man nananana iron man."

Discipline - 5-14-2005 at 02:56 AM

How the fuck did I forget DRI and Sheer Terror. I must be getting forgetful in my old age.

tireironsaint - 5-16-2005 at 06:04 PM

Damn, I thought for sure that BadVibes woulda taken the bait there....anyways yeah, musical suicide. I guess for a real line up it'd be somethin' like
Negative Approach
SS Decontrol (Get It Away era)
Big Boys
Jerry's Kids (circa Is This My World)
Sheer Terror
The Necros (around Conquest For Death's release date)

Or.....
Cocksparrer
Bruisers
4Skins
Angelic Upstarts (Teenage Warning era)

Or maybe...
Dead Boys (Young, Loud and Snotty)
Avengers
New York Dolls (Self titled album era)
Fear (circa The Record)

why scary?

BDx13 - 5-18-2005 at 01:36 AM

it's an english glam/punk band from the 70s playing in brooklyn in 2002. old people, badvibes, REAL old people. on stage, in the audience, in costume. it was rough.

CR83 - 5-18-2005 at 08:54 AM

Original Misfits
Biohazard
Blood For Blood
Skarhead w/Lou From SubZero
25 TaLife

sinister - 5-18-2005 at 06:02 PM

yeah, as a music fan, new york offers some amazing opportunities.
all things (like their age, the acoustics of the venue, and the late hour of the show) considered, their performace was spot on. I Like It is one of my all-time favorite punk rock love songs, so hearing it live was very fulfilling.

newbreedbrian - 5-19-2005 at 09:11 AM

good to hear they didn't dissapoint. "can't stand the rezillos" is one of my favorite records i own for sure. did they play alot of stuff off the first album? Flying saucer attack, No, Top of the pops, Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight, etc. wacky band for sure, im sure it was quite a site live. that's the shitty thing about halifax. really nice place with more character than most places i've been, but it's a 13+ hour drive to anywhere to go see shows or to tour. makes bein in a band and loving music pretty difficult.
