There was suposed to be a tour in July that got canceled because they were focusing more on the tour in August.

I dont know the specifics of what happened, but in that time Mark & Mike decided that they didnt want to do the tour, but Chris and Choke still wanted to go.

Originally I was asked to play guitar, but I'm not a good enough guitar player to play that fast & be the focul point instrument so I had to pass. Then Chris decided that maybe he would play guitar so he asked me about playing bass and thats where we're at now.

Its not 100% (but very close) that Mark wont be doing the tour so it apears as though the line up is Chris - guitar, Josh - Bass, Choke - Choke & John Bean - Drums.

John is the drummer of Chris' other band Frigate (who is also on the tour) and he played with Chris in Bitter.

I love that Choke is not vocals or singer... he plays Choke in the band.

I asked Chris if I was filling in or if I was the bass player and he said "I sold my bass.. you're it".

Thanks Steve.... Slapshot is just a tired old machine that could give out at any moment. I'm hoping that there will be at least 1 more US show because it would make playing with them seem more legit (just for my own being).

Any DEF-STAR shirts left? I'll wear one over there!

this is my new bass because I didnt have a decent 4 string. I bought this, but need to try and sell 2 bass' and at least 1 guitar.

actually this is the TA-200. I got the TA-600 which is a neck thru-body and has a better bridge, better pickups and a few other things.

Yeah I have Chris' Warlock, but the case its in is literally to heavy (even when its empty) to get on a plane without playing extra $$$
