It's great... specially the rivalry between Trekkies and Star Wars fans. Great stuff. Seth Rogen has some great parts.clevohardcore - 7-14-2009 at 11:46 PM

Its not really a Seth Rogan movie, but he does play a few roles in it and is really funny! Its got a bunch of people that are recognizable in it....
- Sam Huntington (Detroit Rock City & Superman Returns)
- Kristen Bell (Heros)
- David Denman (The Office)
- Christopher McDonald (from tons of stuff)
- Danny Trejo (from every movie with a Mexican bar)
- Allie Grant (Weeds)
- Ethen Suplee (My Name Is Earl, Mallrats, American History X)
- Kevin Smith
- Jason Mewes
- Zak Knutson (Clerks II)
- Will Forte (Saturday Night Live)
- Craig Robinson (The Office, Pineapple Express, Jack & Miri)
- Danny McBride (Pineapple Express, Superbad, Easbound & Down)
- Joe Lo Truglio (Reno 911, The State)
Its about a group of friends breaking into Skywalker Ranch in 1998 so they can see Star Wars Episode I (Phantom Menace) early because 1 of the friends
has terminal cancer and wont be around when the movie comes out.
It was suposed to come out a few years back but kept getting delayed. I heard that after the movie was done George Lucas saw it/heard about it and
wanted to be involved (although he's not in it).
Its got cameos by Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, William Katt (Greatest American Hero - who originally auditioned for the role of Luke Skywalker),
Ray Park (Darth Maul) & William Shatner. Plus tons of Stormtroopers, Boba Fetts, Darth Vader, a Tusken Raider, an Ewok and a host of others!MikeResist - 7-15-2009 at 10:49 AM
I want to see this, I remember when it was supposed to come out a few years ago, then I lost track of it and recently heard it was finally out. I
need to pick this up.
Reminds of a video I saw a while back where a bunch of these punker kids were making fun of the Star Wars fanboys waiting outside a movie theater in
full costume. One of the Star Wars "nerds" confronted the punk kids and ended up beating down one of them. It was pretty funny.

I love this movie. It was hysterical.XHonusWagnerX - 7-15-2009 at 12:46 PM
I'm insanely embarassed to admit this, but I almost teared up at the end when Linus died. A movie thats really funny, but has a sad aspect just gets
to me sometimes.

Thats a big part of it for me too. It kind of reminded me of my friends that I dont see anymore. We were all so close and then they grew up and I
didnt I guess.... so we dont really see each other anymore.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that at least thought it...
