WINTHESKIN - 7-30-2009 at 03:30 PM

Discipline - 7-30-2009 at 03:49 PM

Is it supposed to be Buddha from Blood For Blood?

BDx13 - 7-30-2009 at 03:58 PM

Yes.

Discipline - 7-30-2009 at 04:02 PM

I looked on myspace but didn't find anything.

ChadBeantown - 7-30-2009 at 04:16 PM

I am pretty sure he has been writing songs and jamming for about a year and a half now!! This is going to be a great show. The Snipes are also on the bill. Check them out on myspace..

XnMeX - 7-30-2009 at 06:13 PM

Does he have a new group?

XnMeX - 7-30-2009 at 06:32 PM

Looks like the rumor mill is already churning...

check the comments.

Mark Lind - 7-30-2009 at 08:13 PM

I've also heard that rumor about BFB reforming without Rob.

bombidol - 7-30-2009 at 08:18 PM

Cant happen

JawnDiablo - 7-30-2009 at 08:29 PM

blasphemy

Mark Lind - 7-30-2009 at 08:32 PM

I'd guess the rumors are false if Buddha is launching a new band. He'd have to be crazy to try and juggle two bands at once! Oh wait.... I do that.

This new band should be pretty cool.

XHonusWagnerX - 7-30-2009 at 09:46 PM

There cant be a BFB without Rob. I think that Rob could reform BFB with all new people if he wanted, but it cant happen without him.

I'm curious about Buddhas new band, but my favorite BFB stuff is the stuff Rob sang. Who else is in the new band?

That's gonna go over about as well as Ramallah touring without Rob. And that had his blessing.

Exactly what I was thinking.

MyOwnWay - 8-1-2009 at 08:42 AM

Any music available? I'd be interested in hearing it.

As for the BFB thing, that band was both Rob and Buddha. It was an amazing time and place for that band. To bring it back missing either of the two would tarnish what they were. It like like Run DMC without either run or dmc. Just how I see it.

Agreed.

It would be like Slayer with no solos.

The Mulisha with no dirt bikes.

Black metal with no corpse paint.

Sex with no penetration.

Being gay with no ass.

Cock with no balls.

The mafia, but with Mormons.

A flight of stairs with no steps.

The color black, but white.

You get my point.

MM.

"Rob's brother Mark made a facebook post the other day that he is learning BFB songs on guitar."

I wouldn't put it past the Street Dogs to put buddha on stage with them and cover a handful of BFB songs.

Mark Lind - 8-3-2009 at 03:49 PM

I wouldn't put that past them either.

"Rob's brother Mark made a facebook post the other day that he is learning BFB songs on guitar." = I gotta laugh at this. Why does this matter at all???

defstarsteve - 8-3-2009 at 05:42 PM

everyone should learn b4b songs on guitar...

Mark Lind - 8-3-2009 at 05:54 PM

Exactly. They're very interesting songs to learn and totally different than anything else I play. It was helpful to open my scope of songwriting vision.

All Fucked Up was the first full song I ever learned to play.

XHonusWagnerX - 8-3-2009 at 08:55 PM

unrelated to any of this, but a fun little fact..... Ian McFarland is alergic to nickel & can only play stainless steel bass strings.

XnMeX - 8-5-2009 at 10:36 PM

Show is sold out... FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111

BDx13 - 8-5-2009 at 11:08 PM

XnMeX - 8-6-2009 at 12:08 AM

XHonusWagnerX - 8-6-2009 at 07:27 AM

It's not sold out. I just went on Live Nation's website and pretended I was buying 8 tickets and it gave them all to me. If you're trying to use that Street Dogs' fan pre-sale site then they might be gone but you just gotta go to LiveNation now.

I don't think both shows will sell out on this. The one with FFF and Buddha probably will but not the other.

Don't say that. I want Buddha's new band to be good.

XnMeX - 8-6-2009 at 08:14 PM

Thanks for the heads up on the tickets but I now have another problem... Live Nation lists "Buddha and the boys" playing on the 19th, Street Dogs site has them listed as playing the 20th...

Mark Lind - 8-6-2009 at 08:19 PM

Believe the Street Dogs. It's their show.

Just hung out with bhudda last night, sounds like this is gonna good. it's def 100% no kinda b4b thing. mahoney is not the drummer, and old friend of bhuddas is. harry from cheech is in this band for sure, and maybe frankie puopolo don't quote me on him cus we were pretty drunk haha.

XnMeX - 8-9-2009 at 07:04 PM

Any Blood for Blood songs? Is it new music or covers? Whatever it is gonna be I will be there.

ChadBeantown - 8-25-2009 at 11:20 AM

This show is almost sold out. So if you plan on going get tour tickets real soon...

SS76 - 8-25-2009 at 12:49 PM

ChadBeantown - 8-25-2009 at 01:58 PM

XHonusWagnerX - 8-25-2009 at 08:26 PM

XnMeX - 8-25-2009 at 08:50 PM

Be careful though since LiveNation shows "Buddha" on 12/19/09 but the Street Dogs site has them listed for 12/20/09...

XHonusWagnerX - 8-25-2009 at 09:05 PM

Someone stated in this thread (don't feel like looking back) that Street Dogs would know who is playing on what day so the 20th would make sense.
