I haven't updated my netflix cue in months, and I can't even think of anything I want to see, or remember seeing that interested me .
Perhaps some of you could reccommend something cool you've recently seen.
Otherwise I fear my girlfriend will continue to pick the dvds and some of them are just not that interesting for dudes....

just got FANBOYS and it was awesome.

FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL was really funny.

MILK was really good and I didnt know anything about the story before I saw it.

saw THE WATCHMEN which as much as I like the book, the movie bored me a little.

today I'm getting THE STRANGERS which I heard was awesome except the last 2 minutes.

I didnt watch it yet I just heard that the movie is awesome, but the last 2 minutes ruin the whole thing. Guess its got a shitty ending!

Really? I have been somewhat out of touch with newer stuff as of late. What have the French done that is worth checking out?

The Signal... it is fucking AWESOME! It is availible on instant cue as well. It is almost likes shaun of the dead-ish but really odd. The ending is meh but the movie itself is fucking insane.

Tropa de Elite - Brazilian film about BOPE who are basically like the police SWAT team in Rio de Janeiro, storming the favelas to take out drug barons whilst struggling to cope with their own personal lives. Very brutal and very good.

Gomorrah - harsh as fuck film about organised crime in modern day Italy based around the dilapidated housing projects of Naples. Mostly based on real life events, and a few of the actors involved have been investigated for connections to real life mafia activity in Italy. Very bleak but very good indeed.
