Couple ok songs, but no replay value. I wish bands wrote good songs instead of just writing songs.BKT - 8-11-2009 at 11:29 PM
Whatever this album is amazing and the best shit they have ever done. I have rocked this album I don't know how many times.

I am glad I ordered it 2 months ago! The artwork is amazing.
The USA release so far has been about we expected. Lots of stores not carrying it, stores not stocking enough copies and running out of them in a
matter of hours, and even worse out on the west coast shipments of CD’s simply not arriving to the stores with no explanation whatsoever, which is
real cute. It’s a frustrating experience to put it lightly, but we're staying positive and doing what we gotta do. I really don’t want to infect you
guys with the negativity of the business side of things, that’s our problem and our managements headache and our record labels responsibility. We do
need help though, so before I get to the next paragraph I gotta briefly explain the problem with the way things are being handled. To put it simply,
stores wont stock shelves if you’re not either on tour or sold a lot of records from your MOST RECENT release. As we learned last year while shopping
the CD to labels, Century Media gave us one last big slap in the face by releasing the Master Killers Anthology, a collection of old stuff rehashed to
line their pockets one last time. The sales on that are what our bands history is really worth at this time, which is inaccurate to put it mildly. Now
aside from that problem, the CD isn’t being or hasn’t been shipped on time. Think of it as seeing ads for a new movie and showing up to the movie
theater only to find out Lions Gate didn’t ship the reels to the theater on opening night, with no explanation. It disappoints fans, merchants, the
band, everyone. Now as far as being on a big tour, it’s a catch 22. Without big record sales, or a hell of a lot of money to pay the bands for taking
you on tour, it’s not happening. One recent tour we were offered came with a 5,000 price tag and it was like 11 clubs in Europe that we can and will
fill ourselves. That’s just an insult plain and simple. Now if our label wants to buy us on to a bigger tour to help them get our CD in stores so they
can recoup their investment that’s their business. As of right now it seems like they have their hands full just fulfilling the promotional end of our
contract and shipping the CD to the stores that ordered them. AGAIN, Regain is on our side. They are our record label and they have invested money in
us to bring our music to you. Unless they are purposely trying to sabotage themselves and their investment, we choose to give them the benefit of the
doubt and assume they are just having difficulties of their own handling our record and our reputation. Regardless, as you can see, we have more than
our share of obstacles on the business side of things…..
HOWEVER……nothing has ever come easy for any of us in music or life, and we were prepared for this. What’s really important right now, and what is
going to be our only bargaining chip to get the ball rolling, is our first week of sales. I personally have been advising people to buy the actual CD
because the artwork is special and the CD comes with a really awesome poster inside. If you download it or get it from I-tunes you don’t get that.
Profit-wise, the band benefits tremendously from I-Tunes sales opposed to CD sales, but that’s really not the goal here. We want everyone to have the
CD so you can get our artwork and be presented with our music the way we presented it to the world. We were not in any rush to get the music up on
I-Tunes until we realized the CD was going to be hard to come by. Ultimately, what we want and need is for you all to have the music. We just want to
play shows and celebrate our fans and have a good time, and we want you all to know the music when we come through. If we log enough first week sales,
it gives us the power to do get more done ourselves which we are capable of and I personally prefer. BDx13 - 8-13-2009 at 12:02 AM
^ a lot of truths being spoken there.
this whole fucking thing can be a vicious circle... unless you spend, spend, spend.
which is hard to justify when kids steal, stea.. i mean, download, download, download.
sorry to hear the band and the label are having a hard time with the release.
been there.
i feel for 'em.MikeFromInhuman - 8-13-2009 at 10:27 AM
