I saw it this afternoon. great stuff. great social commentary on racism and apartheid (i'm sure I spelled this word wrong)

Ended up not going. Went and watched my friend in town who does magic and hypnosis instead. good shit. Need to check out this movie though. Maybe
this weekend or sometime next week. Theatre near me is allways packed with teens on opening nights...

Really good movie. On top of the racial/apartheid commentary to a lesser degree it played on the mercenaries and arms research.
The gore was on point too

We took my son to see Hayao Miyazaki's new anime Ponyo yesterday. He loved it, it was cute. More to the point, they were having technical problems and
delayed the start of the movie an hour... so we got 3 free tickets. I'll have to decide if I want to use them for District 9 or Inglorious Bastards.

Awesome. Good reviews are great, but the trailers alone were pretty much good enough for me. Especially the first teaser trailer I saw, which didn't
even show the aliens. The blurred out the face.
