So I finally got my ass back to training....at Bas Rutten's gym of all places. Turns out he lives about 20 minutes away from me. The gym has some
very high quality trainers and the BJJ classes are taught by Gracie Barra professors. Needless to say I am fuckin stoked, maybe down the road some of
ya'll will get to place bets on me

good for you.
i've started getting properly back into boxing this week for the first time in about three months.
couldn't afford to train for ages so stuck with doing weights and running but now i'm gonna try and get back into regular training in boxing and Wing
Chun.
the Wing Chun class is pretty much MMA these days anyways so i'm really looking forward to that.
gonna start up at the start of next month.

No idea who that is, but from the posts earlier it sounds cool. Plus working out kicks ass.

I remember someone(probably you) on THORP posting that before. That dude is bad ass. If you can learn from him in person that would be priceless.

IS he(was) an MMA fighter? I want to see his fights on dvd. Did e ever get his ass kicked in those fights?

i think he was more into pancrase which was a little while before UFC but basically a MMA tournament ni Japan in I dunno... late 80s, early 90s i
guess.
not too sure really.

He was a UFC heavyweight champion, vacated his title to drop down a weight class and got seriously injured in training and was forced to retire. The
dude retired on a 20 fight winning streak.
