checked out the myspace page. was about to ask if it's the same singer from shutdown, but i realized i'm mixing up mike from inhuman and mark from shutdown (and, if i remember right, they're brothers, which i hope explains my weird mental connections).

i'm having the opposite thought that i have with most bands. i usually love the albums and hate them live, but i always liked shutdown more live than on the recordings, since mark's voice was a bit too high-pitched for my tastes. you guys take that down a bit, which i like. and the music sounds much clearer, which i appreciate, too. not sure if you take this as a compliment or not, but i think you guys are what i always wanted shutdown to be on a recording... i see it as a good thing. and i don't think you guys are copying the sound at all, but it REALLY reminds me of that band... and mark was always a cool guy when shutdown used to roll through the tiny little town in florida i lived in probably a decade ago.

First, anytime you get compared to a band like Shutdown, it is indeed a compliment. Mikey Inhuman posts on here often and we have had the conversation about how my vocals are similar to Mark's. In my other band, ALL AS ONE, the comparison was more apparent.
Thanks for the kind words, they are appreciated. We have only played three shows thus far and the live act is a work in progress.....
