Great first episode. If we can suffer through Rollins acting (he made Doakes on Dexter seem like Brando) we should be in for a great ride.

Rollins didn't have to do much acting just basically stand there looking pissed off, i didn't think he was that bad. I think he is only in 6 episodes so shouldn't see him to much.

I was a bit surprised by the last scene, not that it could happen in the show but more the amount that they showed. Should be a good season.

i thought it was great. the ending reminded me more of a season finale than a season premier. season looks like it will be good. and i'm guessing rollins ending won't leave room for a return.

He had several scenes with lines...that be acting folks.

I'm not saying he played a central role, just that he is acting and not good at it.

Not taking anything away from the show.

Furly - I read somewhere that cable shows usually only have a 13-show season, while network seasons are around 26 episodes... that's probably why it seemed like it was gone for so long.

And whether Rollins is a great actor or not, he played that role fine. If anything, he seemed a bit too "intellectual" for it. Some of the WP crowd are decent public speakers, but never the suit-and-tie former Nazi skinhead that I assumed Rollins was supposed to be playing. Those guys always sound like they're retarded.

you know, i sit through movies that are 2 hours long and it feels like five. this show is about 40-45 minutes an episode, and it seems like they've only gotten 20 minutes into the story. this shit is great.

MM, check out sidereel.com/Sons_of_Anarchy. there should be a ton of links to episodes, though it seems like networks occasionally do a sweep and remove episodes (especially from megavideo). but you can see if you can start from the beginning.

Has been really good this season...I like Rollins as some meathead....but his lines are still stiff as fuck. If he wasn't Henry Rollins he'd never get that role he's not the same Caliber as those dudes.

Supposedly there's supposed to be 7 seasons...thats his current story arc and when he figured the actors salaries will outweigh the shows profitability from his experience with the Shield.
