Boston's BURNING STREETS join the wayward SGR family

BDx13 - 9-24-2009 at 12:30 AM

Sailor's Grave Records is proud to make known that Boston's BURNING STREETS have joined our wayward family. These young enthusiasts of heartfelt rebel rock have crafted memorable songs full of passion and experience-driven narratives all set to the back drop of punk-inspired rock 'n roll with country underpinnings ala Prison Bound-era Social D. Is It In Black And White will be in stores October 13th.

You can preview the cover art and download and MP3 for "Tea Party" (featuring Ed Lalli of The Welch Boys / Slapshot) here:

Listening to the songs on the myspace page at the moment. So far, pretty good. They should get on the board to find some help for all the open dates on the tour. Pretty sure the board could - at minimum - help with Baltimore, Philly, and the Florida dates.

I'm digging this a lot, and I have never heard of these guys before. Way to go, BD, Andy, and SGR.

"You're alive today" was reminding me of a band, and I couldn't put my finger on it... really reminiscent of (one of the really good) songs by Roger Miret & the Disasters.

Good stuff, lots of potential definitely.

Us Long Island folks love these guys. Boston and Long Island have been supporting each other a lot lately.

Yeah on tape they remind me of Roger's band which is a good thing. I was sitting here scratching my head thinking that the other voice sounded really familiar. Then I read that it was Ed from The Welch Boys. And it all made sense.
