there was a video game where the location was quite clearly inspired by that place... they made a film of it as well... fuck... my mind has gone
blank, it was quite big though.

Not too far from where I live.
I remember being very young and my father drove us through the town on the way to an amusement park. No one around anywhere except for an old man
sitting on the porch of his house (there are a few hold outs who defied the government buyouts but have not had imminent domain exercised on them,
mainly old timers who insist on dying in their home town). As we drove by, I made eye contact with him and we stared at each other. That had to have
been at least 20 years ago and it still creeps me out.

Since seeing these pictures this morning I have been experimenting with my camera to get this effect. Found some tutorials and whatnot and the few
