Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

BEANTOWN BOOZEHOUNDS join Sailor's Grave Records; album available today

BDx13 - 10-13-2009 at 05:38 PM

SAILOR'S GRAVE RECORDS is proud to announce the signing of Boston's favorite threat to sobriety, BEANTOWN BOOZEHOUNDS.

Join the party and check out their collection of alcohol-soaked, celtic-tinged, anthemic punk. Chock full of tales of drinking gone wrong, run ins with the law, and having too much fun with your friends, BEANTOWN BOOZEHOUNDS are the most hyped up punk rock party stimulators since Murphy's Law.

We've got their SGR debut, Pour Another Round, and a shirt up in the store TODAY.

The first 30 people to order the tshirt/digital download bundle will receive a copy of the physical CD and a sticker for free. Compliments of the Boozehounds!

the cd is great.

random - 10-14-2009 at 08:17 PM

first song on the myspace page sounds like intimidation one (minus the lyrical focus) with backing vocals from "dark days"-era ducky boys. like it so far.

Spoiler - 11-6-2009 at 07:42 PM

I ordered the shirt/cd bundle this morning

my favorite bit:
"Of the 12 songs that populate Pour Another Round, every single one is either exclusively devoted to drinking, or mentions some form of drunken debauchery in passing."

ChadBeantown - 3-17-2010 at 10:41 AM

D.U.I. can definately rub some people the wrong way!!! This guy should have sat down with a 30 pack before listening to the CD. On a side note, we have been in the studio recording new material and it isn't ALL about drinking!!

Ok. So the other night I was at the Alice in Chains show and there was some radio DJ there from Florida that was throwing some names around and he definitely mentioned The Beantown Boozehounds in the same sentence as Alice in Chains and Dropkick Murphys. It's gotta be the guy from this station.

Mark Lind - 3-17-2010 at 11:19 AM

Just clicked the link. That's him.

BKT - 3-17-2010 at 11:23 AM

This album is fucking amazing and I am rocking it right now. I will also be reviewing it on Action Recon soon as well.

Great band.

BKT.

ChadBeantown - 3-17-2010 at 11:23 AM

Thats kind of funny since we have never met the guy before.
