Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

SAMCRO-Jumping the Shark

Jason the Magnificent - 10-13-2009 at 11:04 PM

all of them in prison now together? Jesus...give me a break.

MattyA - 10-13-2009 at 11:16 PM

Who cares, this show keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see how they get out of this one.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-13-2009 at 11:19 PM

I don't know about better...that's a full on swing into corny right there...what is this prison break now?

MattyA - 10-13-2009 at 11:27 PM

Might be corny, but it is keeping me glue to the tv every time it is on. Can't wait for next week.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-13-2009 at 11:33 PM

Oh, I'll be tuned in next week myself...not much better on TV.

Besides, wouldn't want to miss when aliens bust them out of prison two weeks from now and we really find out the the porn star who's car got shot up is a succubus that orchestrated the entire aryan prison upheaval...only to find out none of this is actually happening because it's all a childs imagination of what he sees in a snow globe.

I just hoped for better from this show than generic pulp. We'll have to see how it plays out.

necrobutcher - 10-13-2009 at 11:38 PM

From what I heard (I can't recall where), this is only supposed to run for 3 seasons. If that is true, I can see them running this season with the war with the Aryan guys and then, hopefully, next season completely being the delivery of the conflict between Jax and Clay.

Of course, that is purely speculation on my part.

MattyA - 10-13-2009 at 11:39 PM

Read the info on next weeks show, Gemma goes to that rich dude who they helped after his daughter got raped, and I think he has something to do with getting them out.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-13-2009 at 11:42 PM

I don't see them cutting this off after a 3rd season...this is going to be one of FX's cash cows...and at 9PM they don't have much competition. I'd say you're looking at a shield like run here.

barc0debaby - 10-13-2009 at 11:57 PM

"SAMCRO keeps meth traffickers out of Charming"

hahaha

Really? How noble.

I do need to catch this show, as absurd as anti meth dealing 1%ers is, it does seem like a catchy show.

MikeFromInhuman - 10-14-2009 at 09:24 AM

Im kinda stoked they are all in prison, gonna get brutal next week!

JawnDiablo - 10-14-2009 at 09:33 AM

It's a decent show and I've been anxious to see it each week.
Although I will say it has been very predictable at times.
It could get corny with this prison scenario, but such is television anyway.
I can't see them cutting it after 3 either cause it does seem to be FXs big one these days.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-14-2009 at 10:22 AM

They're kind of blowing their load too with Zoebelle as this Machiavellian mastermind turning SAMCRO into bumbling predictable easily baited boobs constantly.

Who can be their nemesis next season, Luthor?

MattyA - 10-14-2009 at 11:07 AM

If it does end next season, it could be about Jax taking over the club in some way and going the way his father wanted to take the club.

Vanilla Gorilla - 10-14-2009 at 12:11 PM

The episode was a bit predictable at the end, lets not write it off yet. If they try to break out of prison maybe we should.

If it does go past 3 seasons, this would be the logical reason.

Fuck, I heard something like 6 million people watched the finale of season 1.

MikeResist - 10-14-2009 at 03:03 PM

I just can't wait till Opie finds out that Clay was the one who ordered the hit on him that caused his wifes head to be blown to pieces.

JawnDiablo - 10-14-2009 at 03:12 PM

all in all I still like it a lot better than most of the other stuff thats on TV

Jason the Magnificent - 10-14-2009 at 03:14 PM

Than 99%

Jason the Magnificent - 10-14-2009 at 06:00 PM

The problem is they coudl drag that out as a plot line for 3 seasons.

MattyA - 10-20-2009 at 11:17 PM

What did everyone think about tonights episode. The fight between Clay and Jax was good but they kind of drew it out to long, good none the less though.

necrobutcher - 10-21-2009 at 12:09 AM

Out of everything that could have happened, that was the most believable. As soon as the recap at the beginning focused on the carnie rapist episode from last season, I figured they would go to that girl's father for bail money. The fight scene looked good to me. I can buy it as 2 guys who have a long history with each other but needed to kick the shit out of each other. Also not sure what the hell they're going to do with Opie since he just keeps getting further out there.

At some point I'm hoping they throw some flashbacks in to flesh out the club history from its formation after Vietnam to the current time.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-21-2009 at 10:01 AM

Well...this episode wasn't as bad as it could have been altough them setting up that black dude was a bit hoaky...guys on his guard....watching the yard and hooks up with a biker guy clearly hanging out with people who were just talking to the guys that want to kill him?

Liking the dynamic between Gemma and Tara.

MikeFromInhuman - 10-21-2009 at 12:10 PM

Thoughts....

- I have been hating Opie since the start of this season, I don't trust him. But I hope he nails the HOT AS FUCK porn girl.

- I want to see more history and flashbacks! Great idea!

- If you ask me Jax was winning the fight against Clay, but I guess it was a draw of sorts.

- Still one of the best shows on TV.

JawnDiablo - 10-21-2009 at 12:50 PM

i would say he was winning also.
the set up the black dude with prison sex was dumb but so is TV
and so was the fact that they are all in the same cell.....
great show though
i am anxious every week and it seems to fly by in 10 minutes

Jason the Magnificent - 10-27-2009 at 08:33 AM

Out of town for work tonight in podunk TN somewhere N of Chattanooga....hoping the TV has FX lol.

JawnDiablo - 10-27-2009 at 07:44 PM

good thing i saw this becasue i forgot what day it was.....

MattyA - 10-27-2009 at 11:14 PM

Much better episode tonight. Fucked up what happened to Luann, really intense at the end. Next weeks show looks even better.

MikeResist - 10-28-2009 at 12:08 AM

Great episode. The ending was great. Next week should be interesting to say the least.

JawnDiablo - 10-28-2009 at 05:53 AM

there hasn't been a slow point yet this season.
i swear the show goes by in 15 minutes though.....just moves fast

I keep saying this. Every episode could be a season finale where they leave you hanging for months waiting to find out what happens next. Only problem is that a season on basic cable is about half a normal season, so we're 2/3 of the way through this season.

Fun fact I just learned... the guy who plays Otto is the creator/writer of the show.

He also worked on the Shield and is married to Katey Sagal.

BKT - 10-29-2009 at 12:07 AM

Seems to be the Sons are punching outside of their weight class these days. They need to step it the fuck up.

MM.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-29-2009 at 05:41 AM

They've certainly set a precedent for multiple seasons...they're so disorganized and undermanned a troop of circus midgets can roll into town in season 3 and upset their operations.

Jason the Magnificent - 11-4-2009 at 12:38 AM

ugh.

morgan - 11-4-2009 at 01:29 AM

Interested to see next week's episode now.
