Dave - 10-29-2009 at 07:19 AM

20$, thats a wicked deal.......

moforn - 10-29-2009 at 09:16 AM

hey Duane- can you let me know as soon as the 49th order is placed? thanks in advance.

BDx13 - 10-29-2009 at 09:19 AM

hahahaha, yeah, sure.

we'll make that a contest in and of itself...who can buy the fastest after I post about the 49th order!

COUPLE THINGS

BDx13 - 10-29-2009 at 09:37 AM

1) This offer is for Thorp releases only (no SGR). To get a sense of what may be included, our discography of 76 releases is available here: http://thorprecords.com/releases

2) Domestic shipping via media mail is only around $6 or $7; other methods/locations may vary.

3) The actual CD selection is "our choice," so no, you can not request specific CDs. MerchNow has copies of all 76 releases and will select the 20 at random from that stock.

4) No, you will not receive 20 (or even two) of the same CD.

Our catalog is diverse enough that we know it's not likely someone is gonna love all 20 CDs, but this is a great way to check out some new music for a minimal investment.

But chances are, there'll be enough in there you DO like that it'll still be a good deal. If you get two you like, you broke even; three and you've got a deal. And hell, for this price, the rest can be Christmas presents, coasters or replacements for you broken jewel cases!

DaveMoral - 10-29-2009 at 06:33 PM

newbreedbrian - 10-29-2009 at 08:29 PM

It sounds like a lot, but it's really not that bad when you factor in how little you pay for the actual cd's.

Vanilla Gorilla - 10-30-2009 at 07:47 AM

Like Honus said in the other thread, if i win the Ipod i will send it to Gavin, i don't need another ipod.

ShawnRefuse - 11-3-2009 at 07:18 AM

Got this and the BDC hoodie. Doubt I'll get the hoodie in time for tour. Fingers crossed.

DaveMoral - 11-17-2009 at 09:49 PM

Natchez Shakers is great. BD you played that for me when I was working in your house. Liked it then too.

BDx13 - 11-17-2009 at 09:54 PM

Nice one, Gorilla.
New Breed, Sugar Daddie, Bionic, all good...
I listen to Stampin' Ground once a week...
Edgewise, Burning Bridges, Paint The Town Red - these are good hardcore records, but from smaller bands that may have been over looked. Exactly the type of thing we were hoping to get out have have people hear.

Vanilla Gorilla - 11-17-2009 at 10:04 PM

I had actually been thinking about buying the New breed i had the other cd, and Bionic, but glad i waited i am still haven't listened to all of them yet but overall i am happy with it

MyOwnWay - 11-23-2009 at 03:26 PM

Damn, what a fantastic sale... I'm on it!!

Six66Mike - 11-29-2009 at 01:04 AM

If you bought quantity 4 would that ensure you got the entire discography or would each batch of 20 possibly overlap with each other?

BDx13 - 11-29-2009 at 12:23 PM

good thinking, but no.
selecting 'quantity four' would ensure you got four boxes of 20 random CDs.
that's it.

Six66Mike - 11-29-2009 at 06:38 PM

Was worth a shot to get the full discography :)

BDx13 - 11-29-2009 at 07:07 PM

sure!

each bundle of 20 is selected at random. the guys at merch now are building 20 bundles at a time, then shipping them out as orders come in. fortunately, they've been have to restock bundles regularly!

JawnDiablo - 11-29-2009 at 07:28 PM

whatever happened to sugar daddie?
are they still active?

BDx13 - 11-29-2009 at 09:33 PM

they kinda became King Snake:
http://www.myspace.com/kingsnakerocks

tireironsaint - 11-29-2009 at 10:13 PM

Still love the Sugar Daddie CDs, got a message or two on myspace from 'em to check out that Kingsnake stuff and I'm just not into it. For what they're doing it's great, but it's kinda like they took out all the HC influence that I loved in SD and added in a bunch of Stoner Rock stuff that doesn't interest me at all. I can still hear a little bit of SD in there, but not enough to really draw me in.

MikeFromInhuman - 12-10-2009 at 11:30 AM

I will be ordering the 20 for 20 next week!

Hoping to get Blood For Blood, Ramallah, Madball in there :)

BDx13 - 12-10-2009 at 01:22 PM

order soon! if sales remain consistent, we'll be out of bundles right around christmas day.

BDx13 - 12-11-2009 at 11:14 AM

peeps...
we're down to our last 25 bundles.
if you're interested, move quick.
these will very likely be gone within the next week.

Six66Mike - 12-17-2009 at 12:51 AM

I'm gonna have to dip into my paypal and get atleast one package shipped to me. shipping will cost more than the albums :D

BDx13 - 12-17-2009 at 01:09 AM

someone on myspace wrote us saying that he wanted to buy the bundle but didn't because shipping was $40 (to Europe). i wrote back and was like, 'holmes... that's still fucking steal at only $3 per CD." needless to say, he ordered.

anyway, i'd suggest moving quickly on that purchase, Mike.
if sales remain consistent, we will have sold out before the weekend is over.
we've already started pulling down some of the ads we've been running.

Six66Mike - 12-17-2009 at 02:31 AM

As long as I get the Ramallah album ad some Ryker's out of it I'll be happy :)

BDx13 - 12-17-2009 at 09:45 AM

Obviously, I can't make any promises...
but these have definitely been included in the bundles so far.

Six66Mike - 12-17-2009 at 06:02 PM

Definitely can't afford $55 shipping :( The only option is USPS Priority International, no slower delivery options. I was going to get 2 packages but it came out to about $180 with the shipping.

Any way I can order a box direct from Thorp and have it shipped cheaper/slower?

BDx13 - 12-17-2009 at 11:01 PM

Dude, that's still just $4.50 per cd! You live in fucking Australia! Ha!

Unfortunately we don't have any of these bundles in our possession, so we don't have any easy easy way to get one to ya. I will ask merchnow about cheaper international shipping options thoug
