Yeah I sold NGS for an amount so paltry I'm not even sure it could keep me in beer for a week. Basically I had a ton of CD's in my closets not doing anyone any good and someone that wanted them, so that was enough for me.

The "surviving bands" Cheech, Fed Up! and Johnny Vomit all got their own CD's for basically shipping and Dann got the back catalogue and the name for about the same.

Why anyone would actually want to carry on the label name is beyond me lol, but Dann is good peeps and has some kind of diabolical plan for world domination...so who am I to judge! I think he's going to lean more towards digital stuff which is probably a smart idea anyway.

i was really surprised when i first saw that thread. i don't think the last post about it being sold was there when i looked last, that's why i asked directly.

so you know the guy that bought it, i assume? is it weird having something you built and that people (typically) think of you as being behind now being run by someone else?

digital only is an interesting idea - curious to see how it goes.

Well I don't know that he's going digital only...I think he's going to explore both.

Yes it's very wierd having someone else "own" it. Wierd enough just saying it...still can't wrap my mind around someone wanting to. I've know him via the internerd for probably about 10 years and hung out once at a Back to School Jam (the slapshot/stars and strips/blood for blood one). He's a good scumbag of the highest order (actually plays guitar for the past couple of Pitboss lineups) and has been on me about selling it to him since I went inactive...3ish years ago?? and we finally just made it happen.
