THE BUSINESS JOIN THE SAILOR'S GRAVE FAMILY

Indisputably synonymous with the original British Oi! movement are South London's working class skinhead heroes, THE BUSINESS. Shrouded in a mess of urban folklore, bombarded with tons of irrelevant controversy, and full of more perseverance than most bands have in their little finger, THE BUSINESS are still here after 30 years. Having been instrumental in forming a musical aesthetic often referred to as 'pub rock', 'street rock', and 'punk n roll', THE BUSINESS are indelibly marked by tales of European football games, motorbike excursions, working class triumphs, bar room theatrics, factory life blues, and of course, the unavoidable anthems of the ever-scrutinized drinking and driving. SAILOR'S GRAVE RECORDS is proud to announce the addition of THE BUSINESS to the roster!

Iconic frontman Micky Fitz had this to say about the union, "Having been top mates and strong allies for many years, THE BUSINESS are proud to announce that they've finally joined forces with Roger Miret & The Disasters, Mad Sin, The US Bombs, The Ducky Boys and many other great bands, and will be at last fighting together at the front in North America with a release on SAILOR'S GRAVE RECORDS."

"I couldn't be more proud to be working with THE BUSINESS,” said label owner, Andy King. “I can not think of any other band that more thoroughly embodies the deep history of the working class British Oi! movement than THE BUSINESS. Their fist-pumping anthemic music, uncompromisingly consistent aesthetic and message, and fierce staying power is unmatched. SGR fully embraces Micky and the boys with wide open arms and a hearty welcome."

THE BUSINESS will see their yet-to-be-titled SAILOR'S GRAVE debut in stores and online April 20th, 2010. In the meantime, you can download the track Mean Girl here: http://media.sailorsgraverecords.com/mp3s/thebusiness.meangirl.mp3

Just to clarify, The Business is on Sailor's Grave.
Same peeps running it, yes, but a wholly different animal!
(and yes, that would be a dope tour!)
