Agnostic Front

Discipline - 5-30-2005 at 04:17 PM

Saw them again last night. Every time I see those guys is better then the last. Still one of the best live bands out there.

SAAAAARS - 5-30-2005 at 04:33 PM

i'm seeing them wednesday and it's a more or less fool proof lineup, it should be fun.

JawnDiablo - 5-30-2005 at 05:08 PM

they'll be here in june..and i think i may go..having only seen them one time ever, and it was on stilborn tour so it wasnt really much to remember...i met stigma in cbgb at the sheer terror funeral...now that hes old he reminds me of one of them pinheads from the movie freaks..

Discipline - 5-30-2005 at 07:22 PM

Stigma rules. Show the proper respect.:P

JawnDiablo - 5-30-2005 at 07:25 PM

no disrespect intended there...its just true

sinister - 5-30-2005 at 07:46 PM

Yeah they're still totally awesome live. Are they still playing the set with about half the tracks from the new album or are they back to a bit more of the older stuff?

Have to wait 'til July to see 'em in the UK again... and no dates in Scotland so will be a 500-600 mile round trip, totally worth it though. :)

ENDERA.x - 5-30-2005 at 09:48 PM

Stigma was reppin my boys band, Two Knives.
That's awesome.

AF played so well.
Outbreak aint my deal, aint feelin it, FBC were brutal as expected pretty damn good, too bad Toronto is pathetic and no one likes heavy shit, Champion are just.. welll, i dunno Champion, its ok. The local band TKD, amazing, wasn't inside while they were on though.

Nice to finally meet you Discipline.
You're alot bigger than I thought. Made me feel like a midjet or something.

SAAAAARS - 5-30-2005 at 09:51 PM

Bigger then the devil baby! :P

I saw them at Posi fest last year, and to be honest ... for dudes that have been doing it for over a decade (nearly two?) ... I really did expect a bit more. Even 25 Ta life were better live ... and well, they're 25 ta life for christ sakes.

That said, they were still awesome and I love the new/latest CD.

gavin - 5-31-2005 at 12:57 PM

i saw a.f. like 800 times back in tha day
ill always have a soft spot for them

the new record blows
bad bad bad bad metal
they dont need to sound like hatebreed or whoever else is "cool" right now

ENDERA.x - 5-31-2005 at 03:31 PM

in my opinion it doesnt sound like that, its just a bit heavier is all, more like madball if you ask me.

nah
jastas mark is all over that cd

Killthehumans - 5-31-2005 at 05:53 PM

roger claims that it is supposed to be like on voice. i like they heavier style AF records (i like the OI type ones to just not as much) , but another voice reeks of hatebreed

Discipline - 5-31-2005 at 07:16 PM

To each their own I guess. I just see it as a continuation of some of their earlier albums. I like it quite a bit, but I still prefer their more oi influenced albums.

Thats alright man, I claim to like Integrity but only own '2000' which i've been told is their worst CD, just can't get any of their other shit around these parts. Pretty rare and too expensive.

Dude, the "good" Integrity stuff shouldn't be that hard to find. 'Those Who Fear Tomorrow' seemed to be put out a million different times by multiple labels, so someone has to have it. And there's another cd floating around out there that has the 'In Contrast of Sin' 7" and all the old comp tracks.
Old Integrity, basically everything up to 'Systems Overload' is awesome. 'Systems' was OK, but they followed that up with 'Humanity is the Devil' which rules. Everything after that pretty much sucks.
