In honor of Paul's sister, Sandi-Marie Cacciatore

It's been one hell of a year for Paul and his family. His father, Edmund, passed away this summer and on Wednesday morning, Sandi-Marie, Paul’s sister and mother to three children, died in her sleep.

This might sound corny, but we felt that offering a little support during this difficult time to someone who has given us so much over the past 25 years was the least we could do. Whether ya love him for the music he's made or hate him for verbally lambasting you in a public forum, there are few in this scene that can say they haven't been affected by the Rev.

Thorp and I first discussed the idea last night and after we heard from a few people today asking if there was anything they could do, we reached out to Paul.

thanks...the wake is going to be on Sunday at Scamardella Funeral Home,in Staten Island...if people want to donate to Autism Speaks or Lupus.org in her name,that would be very much appreciated..Sandi-Marie Cacciatore...

Honestly,thank you all for being so fucking cool...Aside from my blood,and my brotherhood - you guys have become another family,to me...It don't matter if I never met some of you,or ever will...You've put up with my interweb excursions,called me out when you didn't agree,or just been cool as hell...I feel like a friggin' fag for saying this,but I can't deny the truth of it.I'm grateful for having "met" ya's...

Sure we disagree sometimes, and make fun of each other, get annoyed with each other, but when the chips are down, we really are there for each other, as much as anyone can be.

Were a good bunch of goofs on here Paul for the most part...
and regardless of your colorful stage / web personality (which I have always dug anyway), most of us know you're a good dude, and in many ways you have probably connected with each of us personally through your music.
Stay strong for your family dude, cause they need ya. I was through similar situations earlier in the year, and I understand the emotional weight something like this puts on a man. In fact in many ways I'm still dealing with it.
You and yours are in my thoughts......

Jesus, Paul. I'm sorry to hear about this.

It seems like the past 2 weeks have been nothing but bad news for people I know. This..... a guy at work killed himself..... a friend's father had a heart attack.... another friend's husband gets cancer. We should all count our blessings.

On behalf of my Family.and my loudmouth self - I want to thank ALL OF YOU for showing such love and compassion,to me and mine in this hour of CHRISTALMIGHTYGIVEUSABREAKWILLYA?...

The flowers were BEAUTIFUL,and my Ma hasn't yet wrapped her head around who gave what,or why (not to say she didn't appreciate everything!),BUT,that's my Ma...If she's seeing ME happy doing what I do,that's all she needs...

My eldest nephew's girl started to have contractions towards the end of the wake,and they went to the hospital...Maybe an actual "rainbow" will shine over us for once!

We shall see...but,I don't have to see any more from any of you guys to know that you are my friends...

I love each and every one of you from the very depths of my bruised,battered,but never beaten,SOUL.

Be good to one another...like you always have been.

That's why I stayed around here...and,will remain.
