Buddha & The Boys...

XnMeX - 12-15-2009 at 11:33 AM

I SOOO want to go to this but probably wont make it since it is on a sunday.

Did anyone ever get any more info on what this is all about?

ShawnRefuse - 12-15-2009 at 01:18 PM

I have only heard what everyone else has. Covers. It'll still be good to see him on stage again.

MattyA - 12-15-2009 at 01:42 PM

Hope someone records it, good to see him be back on stage to.

XnMeX - 12-15-2009 at 03:02 PM

Anyone going to this?

SS76 - 12-15-2009 at 04:01 PM

hell yeah! Bought my tickets a couple months ago. Monday morning at work's gonna suck, but the regret of not going would last forever.

That is what I am afraid of... I suck.

Discipline - 12-15-2009 at 04:04 PM

I may be alone in this, but I have zero interest in seeing a covers band. I don't care who is fronting it.

XnMeX - 12-15-2009 at 04:39 PM

I don't consider it a "covers" band as far as the BFB tracks go and if this is as close as I can get to see BFB live again then I guess that is what I would have to settle for. I am probably gonna miss it though.

That is what I am worried about and not going / missing it.

Never got to see S&S and Ramallah and it "hurts" to this day... ;)

The first part of that makes me happy... but that math just hurt my head...

SS76 - 12-15-2009 at 07:06 PM

Never got a chance to see Blood For Blood, so I hope they play at least one BFB "cover", I'm thinkin they'll play Goin Down The Bar.

well we know there is going to be a new Sinners & Saints album....or at least some shows. Here is what Brit posted on her blog awhile back:

"we have LIGHT!"
Last night Rob and I spent a few moments testing out some harmonies on a Sinners and Saints tune - sounded pretty sweet.

I think Buddha should do some original music. That dude has such well rounded influences that he could pull something pretty awesome out. At the least dynamic he could do something like Wretched Ones and probably a lot more.

Can't wait to hear new stuff from Rob as always.

As for Buddha, I am hoping this show makes him want to do some new stuff.

Yeah, I thought I only mentiond 2-3 bands so it thru me off as well. S&S, Ramallah and kinda Blood for Blood (though I have seen them a bunch of times)... I am guessing it was more of a 2/3 as in S&S and Ramallah maybe?

That makes sense. I got to see B4B a ton of times thanks to the Slapshot tour, but I never saw S&S or Ramallah. I would like to see S&S pretty bad though!

Although it would be nice to see the BfB thing happen again, I would just be happy to hear that those guys made amends and called each other brothers again. Too much living they did together not to be lifelong friends. For someone who lives a pretty ransient lifestyle, I know the value of a friend who sticks around......very hard to come by.

SS76 - 12-21-2009 at 11:17 AM

I didn't recognize anyone, but Chabo played drums on the last song.(recognized him from the Boston Beatdown dvd)

ShawnRefuse - 12-21-2009 at 11:21 AM

a couple from Cheech were in it. I yelled up to them to do a Cheech cover and they all took it pretty well. Hahah.

bombidol - 12-21-2009 at 11:48 AM

Cheech are awesome

ShawnRefuse - 12-21-2009 at 12:06 PM

They went through a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG period of just releasing stuff and not playing much. They said they are going to play out more though. Great guys. Only played with them a couple times but always fun. I think most, or all are EPs, so 4 is really like 2 full lengths :)
