gavin - 12-15-2009 at 12:05 PM

are p[laying some show together apparently
and apparently this is big news

you couldnt pay me enough to sit through that

wez138 - 12-15-2009 at 12:07 PM

these bands can also get fucked

XHonusWagnerX - 12-15-2009 at 12:13 PM

I like a lot of stuff by those bands, but this is WAY late to be big news. Maybe 15 years ago, but now? Big news for playing one show in Poland?

It gotta be on Metallica that it hasnt happened before now because Megadeth, Slayer & Anthrax did a tour in the early 90's with Alice in Chains opening.

I have a feeling this will come to the US in the summer as Metallica's Summer Sanitarium tour. And I will go.

gavin - 12-15-2009 at 12:56 PM

clearly you are

JawnDiablo - 12-15-2009 at 01:19 PM

This would have ruled in 1987.
In Dec 2009, I can't think of anything any of them have done in a decade that I give 2 shits about....even Slayer, and I still dig some slayer at times.
I can only imagine the egos clashing backstage......

JawnDiablo - 12-15-2009 at 01:22 PM

I remember when i was like 12 seeing magazines in 7-11 about a fued between Metallica and Megadeth.......
I think Kerry King could take all 8 of them dudes if it came down to it.
I don't even know why I added this post.
I don't know what I am doing today.

Jason the Magnificent - 12-15-2009 at 01:38 PM

If that came to the states it's be $100 tickets for nosebleeds easy.

and probably like 4 hours long...holy christ thats a lot of time to be surrounded by 40 year old men in jean jackets and their children.

gavin - 12-15-2009 at 02:26 PM

ANTHRAX----Ruled through the Belladonna era. John Bush sucks.

MEGADETH----One of the best thrash bands ever....up through Rust in Peace=perfect

METALLICA----Went on life support the minute that bus rolled.

SLAYER-----Haven't written a good album in 20 years but still is OK live for 50 yr old men.

gavin - 12-15-2009 at 02:45 PM

i cant stand a note megadeth ever played
dave mustains voice is so bad
i find them horrible

anthrax sounds like amed up hair metal

metallica i couldnt care less about other than my hatred for that lars guy

slayer i liked when i was a young teenager

I agree with all this.

Six66Mike - 12-15-2009 at 11:14 PM

Slayer & Megadeth toured together recently and these rumours of all 4 bands have been going for a while.

Slayer live is still amazing, I didn't go to the tour because I don't like Megadeth all that much. Metallica can get fucked and I never been a big Anthrax fan. Wouldn't be worth the amount of money a single ticket would cost.

clevohardcore - 12-16-2009 at 12:34 AM

lose MEGADETH and it would be a awesome show

lifeisabitch - 12-16-2009 at 12:35 AM

I'll take slayer and anthrax anyday over the megadork and metallica
but would I go to this, nope no way in hell anymore...

however exhorder are back playing and writing new music...
that is the real deal right there, (fuck pantera)

About fucking time. Kyle sounded good on Floodgate and Alabama Thunderpussy, but Exhorder was always one of my favorites from the 90s.

MyOwnWay - 12-18-2009 at 08:44 AM

Was never a huge megadeth fan, but I'd go... Never saw Metallica or Anthrax (esp w/Bush) and I'd like to.

moron - 12-19-2009 at 06:41 PM

Depending on the price I might go to this if it comes to the US. I'm seeing Megadeth, Slayer and Testament in February and I'm more excited for that then the idea of Metallica, etc. I saw Testament twice over the past two or so years here in CT and they were great. And I love Megadeth and their new album. I realize I'm in the minority around here with that.

random - 12-19-2009 at 06:48 PM

i just turned 28. somewhere between 15 and 20 years ago, i would've shit my pants to see that show. but in the last 15 years, definitely, i could do without the bands or their audience(s).

and gavin, is that quote from omar on the wire? i'm just about to finish up the series for the second time... just got done with episode 9 of season 5, so only the finale is left.

barc0debaby - 12-19-2009 at 07:52 PM

I don't think you could find a venue that could fit that much ego.

wez138 - 12-20-2009 at 07:37 PM

I could!!!

With one door and no fire exits.

barc0debaby - 12-21-2009 at 01:36 AM
