is awesome. it was great while it was on, and i'm re-watching the series now, near the end of season 3. not as good as i remembered, but still better than 95% of the garbage out now. hate to admit it, but the wire was better... but these are both modern classics.

I loved OZ and band of brothers when those was on the tele box.

The shield looked really good, but i missed half of it and thought it was pointless getting into it halfway through.

Might buy the boxset when i get a job.

I think the Wire was about cops in Baltimore.

I loved the first 3 seasons of the Shield after that I fell off with it.

clevo... the wire is a lot like the shield, but more focus on bigger issues and less on character storylines, but there are a lot of those, too. i'm inclined to say that if you like one, you'll like both. the wire focuses on deeper issues of corruption across cops, the schools, and the media.

i still need to check out rescue me and oz... but it's good, since i prefer to watch shows after they end so that i don't have to wait for the new season (like i'm doing with sons of anarchy now).
