I have seen this show a few times on BBC America, and it's fucking great. It's crude and has horrible language and funny as hell. I have set my DVR to
record it now.
I hate to say it but i think the English may have us beat on TV shows not that i know many other than Top Gear, some of those Gordon Ramsay shows and
this one.
This is also kind of pointless thread but i am bored at work.mattybar - 2-11-2010 at 01:33 PM
The Inbetweeners is great. but not a patch on Peep Show.
If you want good English comedy watch Peep Show.
It's so fucking awesome. mattybar - 2-11-2010 at 01:33 PM

Yep the inbetweeners is very good, alot of it reminds me of my older brother and his friends indevvers to get boob while they was at school.
I don't really dig peepshow.
But things in the past i've always loved.....
The young ones
Bottom
The comic strip
Blackadder
Black books (A must see)
Spaced
Phoenix nights
All great comedy's. mattybar - 2-11-2010 at 04:14 PM
Spaced is great.
Dunno if any of you lot across the pond have seen Shaun of the Dead but it's made by the guys who did Spaced and is basically like a feature length
episode of Spaced.
Yes!!! Shaun of the Dead was awesome, my dad even liked itwez138 - 2-11-2010 at 06:44 PM
What did you think about hotfuzz and run fat boy run matty? Vanilla Gorilla - 2-11-2010 at 07:46 PM
not Matty but...
Hot Fuzz was good, not as good as Shaun of the Dead . The Simon Pegg and Nick Frost( i think thats his name the fat funny guy) combination is why
those movies are so funny. Nick Frost playing the dimwitted sidekick is really what makes those movies. I thought i read those two are working on a
new movie now about comic books and aliens or something and that dude Seth Rogan is gonna be in it.
Run Fatboy Run was pretty good, but it's a romantic comedy and not that similar to the other movies, except Simon Pegg always plays the same type of
character in the movies i have seen him in.wez138 - 2-11-2010 at 08:47 PM
Yeah they make a good team, frost's not an actor though he's just best friends with pegg, probably why it works so well i guess, one of my ex's met him
and he's no different, same smelly fat crass ex student bum type as in the films.
They've been talking about the comic book stuff for going on 12 years now,he (pegg) has his own comic out and had a hand in land of the dead one's
too,he and the guy who co-wrote shaun of the dead both have a small cameo role (The photo booth zombies) in land on the dead.
As for run fat boy run, not my cup of rosie lee.mattybar - 2-12-2010 at 05:17 AM
i haven't seen Run Ft Boy Run but i thought Hot Fuzz was alright.
i was a bit indifferent to all the blood and guts just cos i thought it was working fine as a comedy in its right.
but on the whole it's alright yeah.
Dave, the singer from Injury Time, used to work with Nick Frost years ago and it was him (Dave) that told me to check out Spaced in the first place. Dave - 2-12-2010 at 09:53 AM
spaced was wicked.
havent seen hot fuzz but have seen run fatboy runM.Alki - 2-13-2010 at 05:04 PM

Fuck that, Peepshow is brilliant, clearly one of the best UK shows.
I rate the Inbetweeners too, randomly caught the first episode when it forst aired and it was pretty funny so carried on watching the others, certain
episodes have had me in stitches.wez138 - 2-13-2010 at 06:48 PM
