when we first started this board, we had three forums - this one, hate, and one for bands. and discussed doing a bunch more for different topics like
shows, shit for sale, etc. well, the bands forum was never used, so it wasn't resurrected after the hack. the hate forum is still going, and i love
how people go off on one another in there, but can leave that behind and act totally civil in the regular forum. we also had 'the ring' for a little
while. in that forum two messageboard users squared off in a week-long insult-a-ton and everyone else on the board voted for a winner. it was a cool

One of the main reasons I never really got into the ring because I knew I'd get obliterated in all honesty. I am much better off talking about music,
boobs, and not having money.

Amazingly to me, if no one else, I haven't posted nearly as much in Hate as I used to. I really hope that doesn't mean I'm gettin' soft in my old age.

Yes, getting a pile of free stuff was definately the best part of that little contest. That and putting the other guy to shame!
