so a friend is getting married in london on march 27.
and i've been on the fence about making the trip cause i REALLY can't afford it.
but this...
this just isn't fair.
could leave thursday night, be there fri morning, go to the AF so that night, hit the wedding the next day.
could this be a business expense?

Holy shit! That's a pretty amazing line up.XHonusWagnerX - 2-27-2010 at 11:57 PM
get The Buisness on the show and thats a buisness trip!!Mark Lind - 2-28-2010 at 12:19 AM
UK Subs are pretty low down on that bill.
One of my friends went over to live in the UK for a while. He was blown away by how some European bands that are popular in the US were virtually
unknown in the UK and vice versa. tireironsaint - 2-28-2010 at 01:02 AM
Fucking amazing...mattybar - 2-28-2010 at 06:25 AM
got my tickets for the friday night a couple of weeks ago.
a few people i know are going to both nights but i can't afford it.
it will be the first time i'm seeing Cock Sparrer. Can't fucking wait!XHonusWagnerX - 2-28-2010 at 10:53 AM
Slapshot played with The Rabble a few times last year they were pretty good and real nice guys. From Australia I think?Discipline - 2-28-2010 at 02:14 PM
Damn, I wanna go to that show.wez138 - 2-28-2010 at 06:54 PM
I'm going on the 26th.
And mark is right,I've watched a lot of American hardcore and punk videos online of show's which are packed out but then when they've played over here
there aint but a handful of people at the show.
I know darkbuster aint REALLY massive, but when they played here at city invasion i was very excited thinking they'd have the crowd bouncing but when
they played (minus lenny) there was two people dancing and having fun! Me and my house mate! Gurly did a really good job on vocals and it was still a
great show.
But also from what i've seen over the years of going to shows, punk and hardcore (As i know and love it) is on the de-cline.
I blame bring me the horizon.

come on, matty, find me a house swap for the weekend.mattybar - 3-2-2010 at 08:26 AM
i'm an idiot. i had no idea what you were talking about and then remembered your email that I still haven't replied to!
i really have no idea of anyone who'd be up for a house swap and i'm not 100% positive about anywhere to stay in London as I've never really had to
look.
You'd be welcome to crash at mine of course but I imagine you'd be looking for something a little more proper if you're staying for a few days.
you might be able to find some decent accommodation on lastminute.com but i can't even get the website to work at the moment. BDx13 - 3-2-2010 at 08:52 AM
HAHA, no problem!
i'll take a look at lastminute.com. sounds like a site i've used before called site59.com - basically a clearing house for unused inventory over the
next couple of weeks.
this is one of those things that i'm sure i could make happen, but that i really, really, really shouldn't. the squeeze upon return would be
uncomfortable. i have to keep telling myself that it's better to put what this five day trip would cost toward another month-long trip next year.M.Alki - 3-3-2010 at 07:13 AM
I think you should just come! Crash at mattys, it may not be ideal but it'll save you cash for sure! I am super broke at the moment but just found out
I can prob wangle guestlist for this so i'll prob be going both nights.
Or come over in August for Blackpool Rebellion fest as the line up for that is looking pretty damn good about now.Dave - 3-3-2010 at 09:50 AM
thats a wicked line-up on friday.....newbreedbrian - 3-3-2010 at 05:45 PM
