My love for movie's started at a very young age,like 11 or 12 and not the kind 11 or 12 year old's should really be watching...But my Dad thought it
was "fine" for me to be watching things like halloween,poltergeist,Friday the 13th and carrie ect ect Looking back in hindsight it really really was
not "fine". But anyway,i started really enjoying them at around 13 because by then i was starting to understand the complexity and role's of
characters within the movies.
The first film i ever really fell in love with was called KES..It's a very northern film (As in the north of England) Flat caps,fish and chips,scruffy
fume ridden kids,the coal mines,school,working class.
The films based around Billy a young lad of 15 who has a pretty bad home and school life,he's bullied by his older and a lot bigger brother Jud,
ignored by his indifferent mother and not very much loved. But he finds a positive purpose and something to help him get through his hard times in the
form of a kestrel falcon (think eagle,but smaller but just as deadly) which he tames and trains,he then gains encouragement by his English teacher Mr.
Farthing and his fellow students, but like all things the story takes a turn for the worse. I found i could relate to this character considering i too
was very small for my age also a loner had an older brother who was much bigger than me (although he was a wimp) I also was not very close to my
parents. My mum worked all the hours god sent and if she wasn't working she was at bingo or out getting drunk, while my dad as above mentioned was
well........... a bit of a dick and blamed his out bursts of unpredictable behaviour on his epilepsy (He'd do stuff like destroy my room if anything
was "out of place" or make me stand in the corner with a glass astray on each hand making me hold my arms out stretched for as long as he saw
fit...see! dick!. I also had a fondness towards animals (Hell my family was full of them) So after watching that film i defied what my folks said and
went out and got 2 pet rats with some money my gran had given me. I did this for a couple of reason's 1) My mum hates rats with a passion,you cannot
even say the word without her going mental. 2) I knew as much of a dick my dad was he would not hurt them 3) Rats are very intelligent and treated
right make amazing pets. Anyway i had them both for around 3 years until sadly they died of old age,i know it sounds sad but they as pathetic as it
also sounds give me something good to think about and spend my time with.

Aliens. I love this movie and watch it regularly. I saw it when it came out on video when I was in the fifth grade and was hooked. It's got
action, horror, suspense, comedy, it covers them all. The aliens looked fucking amazing, much better than the shitty CGI ones in the AVP movies. The

STAND BY ME. Rob Reiner made a great movie out of a good Steven King novel. The story is classic and relatable for so many people no matter there
background. The acting was great for who they had. One of the only movies I will watch over and over. Plus the music score was fantastic for an

it was the first film I remember seeing in theaters, and it gave me hope that there was something more to this being a farm boy with his head in the
clouds...
the possibility of being something more than what you are...
it was called a new hope for more than a few reasons...

I would say the movie that I have seen the most and enjoy every time is Shakes The Clown. There is something about a movie based on a group of

The Outsiders is my favorite.
When I first seen this movie many many many years ago,it kinda reminded me of how my life was at the time.I grew up in a very poor neighborhood and
hung out with the so called bad kids. In the movie they had Socials and Greasers...and at my school,we had the preps and the Hoods (rich kids/poor
kids). Sounds silly,but at that time the movie really spoke to me. I still love it as much today as I did back then.
