im guessing that some of the douchey little indie rock kids we have here in az that call themselves hardcore kids probably got on there and voted one
star over and over again. i posted this review on one of the boards here, and im assuming that they went all "punk rock" on it
thats how the wonderful kids in this scene roll
in az supporting your local scene basically equates to doing anything and everything you can to fuck one another over, and ive been around long enough
to remember when all these snot nosed little shitbags were all emo kids (rather then the uber self ritious, elitist students of the core for years and
years like they claim to all be), and they resent the fuck out of me for it, so generally im public enemy number one.......even though i run one of
the websites, have managed all all ages club, booked a trillion shows, and made a TV show for them all to enjoy
i play a big role in keeping things moving around here, but im totally a douchebag because of it. its thankless, and i totally dont care for the most
part, but its still frustrating
as of late they have been relaxing a little bit, but again, im sure its somebody here trying to be a comedian
funny though....nobody ever says shit to my face other then good job. it all goes on online and shit
we get very little love in phoenix internet land, but yet we get ALL the shows, and we havent played in front of less then 300 people in like more
then a year. in addition, i find it pretty hard to believe that 900 people would give something a negative rating when maybe only 15 or so people on
earth have ever actually heard the record considering its not even out yet
