Good one Honus, I'm jealous. There is one record store here and they only had one of the records I was interested in. The owner had promised to set
aside one of the Fucked Up records that was coming out for RSD, but he double checked with his suppliers before the day and discovered he wasn't
getting one anyway. They did have a pretty good sale going on for regular stuff, so I scored a couple other things and they threw in a bunch of
freebies (including a nice Tesco Vee bobblehead), but I was still a bit disappointed. I was sure they'd have one of the Ramones Mania copies, but no
such luck. Had I been able to take the whole day off work, I might have tried running down to Albuquerque and hitting up the shops there, but that's 3
to 3 and 1/2 hours away, so it would have considerably jacked up my total cost on what still would have been a gamble. Oh well....
Hey, if anybody picked up a copy of the Fucked Up Daytrotter Sessions record that came out and wants to sell it, hit me up!
