BDx13 - 6-9-2005 at 02:13 AM

Dave - 6-9-2005 at 07:58 AM

defstarsteve - 6-11-2005 at 12:35 PM

it seems weird that i have known the two of you since you were in a band together in texas, and now one of you is in PA, the other CO.

defstarsteve - 6-11-2005 at 08:16 PM

we both left texas for family reasons, also....
okay time to get the band back together...

actually if Ido another "band" it'l be straight forward oldschool circle jercks style skatecore...

my next actual project will be a digital gore grind band called 2 dead crew, doing all 2 live crew and hip hop covers, but about fucking dead girls...
should be fun

JawnDiablo - 6-11-2005 at 10:23 PM

Man, Ron still tells me people are asking when Crime Pays is playing next. By the way, his band with Dekle is doing pretty well and I just sent them the art for the CD they're about to release. I think he wants to get in touch with you about doing some shirts sometime soon.

tireironsaint - 6-12-2005 at 12:30 AM

Oh, and supposedly I've got something started here, but it's hell trying to keep a fire lit under everybody's ass and keep everybody on the same page. Plus, one member is getting back tonight or tomorrow from a long trip and I leave for one on Thursday to see my daughter. I thought it was a pain in the ass to start a band in a city where everybody plays music, it's hell to start one in a small town where almost nobody does.

defstarsteve - 6-12-2005 at 01:36 AM

Yeah I sould call Ron....
he should become more computer literate
I saw his band before I left they were pretty damn good
I hate rock and roll

tireironsaint - 6-12-2005 at 02:21 AM

His computer is all fucked up. I was supposed to try to take a look at it before I moved but it never happened. They do have a website up now, check out Condemned Unit. They are supposed to be putting some mp3s and some video up on there soon. From what he's told me they really went the old crossover/thrash metal route with the newer stuff. I never got to see 'em, but it looks like they're doing good. Anyway, he told me they really wanna do a new run of shirts with a new design since the last batch you printed are long gone. If they really dig the art I did they're probably gonna use that design, so I guess in a way, 3/4ths of Crime Pays will be workin' together again.

It is weird, isn't it? It doesn't seem like it's been that long, but I remember talking about things like what we were gonna name the band and shit like that on here and I know that was waaaaay back when.

Killthehumans - 6-13-2005 at 12:18 AM

did big duane really play cowbell for edgewise?

BDx13 - 6-13-2005 at 07:19 AM

i was an uncredited member of the band. i think the cowbell was only actually used in one song, though. vince, who posted above, may have been in the band the longest; he played guitar. hi vince!

i was good friends with all of those guys when i was in high school, so whenever they played, that was how i would get in for free...
Bouncer: "Wait, wait. you in a band?"
Not-as-big Duane: *holds up cowbell*
Bouncer: "Uuuuuuuhh..."
Jack (drummer): "Come on man, we gotta set up!"
Bouncer:... "Uuuuuuuhh..."
Not-as-big Duane: *strolls into club*
