We played a fest at the same spot two summers ago and it was byob for sure and there was a ton of people there then and it was much smaller then, all PA bands except us, hard response, death threat, and the hoods I believe. WIC was the headliner.

Fury of V? Holy shit. One band I always wanted to see, but never got the chance. They were supposed to play with Blood For Blood, All Out War and Mushmouth in Toronto back in the day, but they did not show.

Wow that's still a killer show, I would have gone crazy to see them together. Only time I saw BFB in Toronto was Opera House once when Ramallah was also supposed to play & at Kathedral with I don't even remember who. First time was at the Mindbomb in St. Catharines.

I'd kill to go to this fest, like pretty much every other one I miss being in the land of nothing exciting happens ever.

- Bulldog Courage - very tight set. Sounded great.

this fest was terrific.
well, at least saturday was - i wasn't there on fri.
of course, we mighta been singing a different tune if it was raining.

this was really my speed...
good size, well organized, great location, decent facilities, good people, great bands...
being outside in nice weather, merch tables were just far enough away from the stage that you could hear well, but still hold a conversation, byob is HUGE for a cheap bastard like me.
can't wait for next year.

i enjoyed BDC, sfar KILLED it, mushmouth was sick again, no turning back coming from so far away, and so much more.

M - Yeah, I saw Charlotte while I was at the Thorp table, but wasn't sure it was her at first. Thanks to Facebook updates, I had it in my head she was in Boston or something. But yeah, chatted with her for a bit and met Kelly, who as I understand it, came to West Chester for that Madball show, but never actually made it into the club.

Caught up with Danny, met Tad from Stout, saw our own Dave Moral for the first time since he left for Portland...a yea and a half ago (?).

The Thorpster was so spontaneously moved by Sick of it All's set, he took his cigar out on the dancefloor with him.

Also, Earth Crisis is fucking boring to listen to on studio albums, but fun as hell live.

I know, my barbering skills were impeccable that day. Thanks for noticing shawn. My highlights of the day in order of super sweetness are as follows- 1. Drinking at 11 am (always awesome) 2. Watching richie krutch coordinate stage construction 3. Thorp's sweet hat 4. Wild steve moosh (if you don't know you'll never understand his awesomeness) 5. Rescuing our bass player from certain death of heat exhaustion and dehydration. 6. Returning to the town I attended school til 4'th grade for a hardcore fest 7. Hangin with duane and forcing the hot dog vendor in and out of pictures with us. 8. Wawa of course. 9. Hardcore all day. 10. My pittsburgh homies. All the bands were awesome, my favs were troublesome, outta hand, stout, soia, all out war, fury of five (jam). And H20. Andy king and BD you guys are awesome, and I want and need a andy hat asap!

Fest was fucking awesome. The only problem I had was leaving late and not worrying about it as I figured that it would run behind schedule. I was wrong and missed BDC. They are one of the bands that convinced me to come out to this so I feel like a dumbass. Thankfully they're hitting Philly again.

Which is wicked impressive since most shows with 3 - 5 bands runs behind schedule. Something of this magnitude running on time and even a little early is a testament to how well run it was.

I watched a bunch of Youtube clips yesterday. Strength For A Reason & Mushmouth mostly, 1 H20 and Earth Crisis as well. I could only find part 1 of SOIA songs and no Death Threat, kinda bummed about the video selection.
