my western digital 500GB DH is pissing me off. I am trying to delete everyhting off it but it wont let me. Any ideas how to make it happen. I am
selecting all and when I go to EDIT TAB to move ot trash it is not highlighted or even giving me the option. I am also clicking the files and moving
them to the trash icon manually but it states it can't delete them. Why and how the fuck is that possible? I wan tot clean the harddrive of all files

I did. The instructions say APPLE MENU, select control panels > extensions manager

plug in the drive...
open disk utility (in applications, utilities)...
select the external drive...
click the 'erase' tab...
for format, select mac osx extended (journaled)...
name the drive...
click 'erase'.
