Japanese hardcore

I was curious to see if anyone else here was into japanese hardcore, the music, not the porn. I've been a huge fan of the countries scene for quite sometime. There are some amazing bands like Fuck on the Beach, Real Reggae, Nice View, Slight Slappers, Shikabane, SOB and tons more. It's definitely a lot faster and more harsh then a lot of US hardcore but still kicks a whole lot of ass.

That Japanese Hardcore Wrestling is awesome. Shit Onita is fucking crazy then you've got Funk, Sabu, W*ng Kanemura, FMW, Cactus Jack, The Headhunters. I've only seen shit on the internet and never a video. I saw some on That American Wrestling Documentary under the mat or something like that. Hardcore wrestling is so great

Yea, I have a ton of wrestling videos too. Japanese wrestling is crazy. I personally like the death matches were they chase each other all over the arena. One tape I have shows a couple of guys fighting and one basically throws a floruscent light bulb into the guys back. Freaking brutal.

I like how extreme they are, just to entertain people.

I think the documentary was called Beyond the Mat, and it was pretty cool actually. Strange to see Jake the Snake doing drugs and being a complete fuck up. Good all around entertainment though.

I definitely don't watch wrestling anymore though, no cable and no interest in the newer stuff.

yea japanese wrestling is crazy. from what terry funk says most of the explosions are random, they don't even know when or where they're gonna happen. i still love me some ecw, i've got all the ppv's. haven't seen any in awhile but the tna stuff was pretty good too. that aj styles kid is crazy. ring is honor is pretty badass too

man i miss ecw so much
i used to go all the time
the ecw arena is 5 mins from my house
i saw so many good matches there and had so much fun

i was a wrestling fan from the time i was a little kid until recently
now its just not good with vince running everything
i still watch it here and there but its not the same

they are actually having an "ecw" ppv on sunday
its wwf run though
i still might buy it to see what its all about

yea im curious about that ecw ppv too. i wonder if heyman will have anything to do with it. i know sabu is gonna be there and there's no way he'll toe the line for vince. im jealous vibes, i never got to see ecw live. i would love to have seen that dreamer/raven feud in person, seriously top 3 feuds of all time. it would be seriously great if all the guys that vince made look like shit for years were there. taz, raven, dreamer, jerry lynn, justin credible, mike awesome, tajiri, lance storm, all the guys that vince made into shitty jobbers. it's depressing how much talent vince has wasted. reality check: stone cold sucks, undertaker sucks they should never be anywhere near a title. man, i'd love to see taz vs benoit in a full on ecw match. bring aj styles over and have him wrestle super crazy. damn.

my friend tom knows him from back when his sisters boyfriend was in the serial killers..seemed like a cool dude, with quite the alter ego on stage. i remember seeing his band at the time rancid vat at upstsirs at Nicks when they opened for the dictators, that was some funny shit in the purple pimp suit, feather hat and all...them guys at his tattoo shop do your tats?

newbreedbrian-ive seen him on tv, never in person. he is one of the guys that i wish was around when ECW was big. he would have been so great there. i think he and everyone is wasted in tna, even though its better then what vince is doing. i cant take any promotion who puts jarret on top seriously.

juandiablo-tom bradley right? i know tom from high school. really good dude. i worked with his sister dawn for years at tower. she lived with cosmo for a while back in the day. crazy. cosmo did my chest tattoo. im too lazy to go up to his shop or id have him do all my stuff. another friend works at body grafix so its a million times easier to go see him which is 5 mins away. god damn rancid vat. ive seen them for real about 25 times. unreal.

yeah jarrett is weak for sure. he's runnin the show so what else could you i expect i guess. but there's a lot of good matches over there. most of stuff ive payed attention to is x division stuff. there's been some real good jerry lynn stuff, which is awesome to see. i think he's one the best ever and i got real sick of seein vince completely waste him. apparantly ravens kicked alot of ass over there but i havent seen any of it. i downloaded one of d-lo browns matches when he first went over there and was incredible. he looked completely terrible in wwe. you're right, aj would have been a fucking monster in the ecw glory days. then would have gone to wwe and jobbed for a few years like the rest. fucking depresses me to think about. remember a couple years ago, when an ecw faction split off in wwe and tazz stood up to stone cold. looked like he was gonna go psycho and start suplexin everyone, then nothing. he get's whipped with a belt by stone cold and fucking takes it. that would have never happened in ecw. ah well, like i said this better be good, last chance.

Yep Tom Bradley. Been good friends with Tommy since i was 14 in Upper Darby High. I remember when Dawn worked @ Tower. I run into her once in a while when I go down to see Tommy working @ the royal tavern. One of these days ill get my forearms finished (been like 6 years since i felt the burn) the dude that did all the shitty tats on me when i was 19 or so is riding the H train now and havent spoke to him since 98 or so.
howzabout the Whiskey Rebel? beating his own head in with a broom handle or using a widget on himself..that shit was a mess.
