Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

people now think my ramallah hoodie is a political statement

random - 6-2-2010 at 08:05 PM

not sure why. seems that killing a few (mostly western) civilians on a boat, it's suddenly a big deal. back when they were bulldozing homes and shooting rockets into (palestinian) apartment buildings full of people, it wasn't such a big deal.

anyway, i wear the hoodie most days (thanks again, clevo). seems like it's taken on new meaning recently. some guy gave me what looked like the black power salute on the bus yesterday. i would have asked what he was doing, but he looked like a giant douche.

I was once asked if I was a nazi dude for sporting a Bad Vibes T shirt.......

I got a whole buncha stares at a vegan Chinese joint that I always go to because I was wearing my Ramallah - Abraham shirt. Got more looks for that shirt than I used to get for wearing Cradle of Filth shirts with bare tits on them 10 years ago.

Cradle of Filth have the funniest tees. I remember the one that had Jesus Is A Cunt written on the back in huge white letters. hahaha.

I was at a bowling alley with one of my friends years back and he was wearing the BFB shirt that said FUCK YOU on the back in bold letter. The owner asked him to turn it inside out.

I used to wear sweatshirts when I jogged at the gym. I wouldn't wear the Ramallah one because I could totally foresee some Cambridge bra burner trying to engage me in a political discussion over it.

JawnDiablo - 6-3-2010 at 10:54 AM

this all is just another reason i try not to wear any shirts that say much of anything on them.

I got stares for wearing a Ramallah shirt in an area with a large middle easten community. It was mostly looks of confusion and curiosity.

I've got a few shirts that bring on stares.

AF Skinhead
DKM "Skinhead on the MBTA"
Sheer Terror - "Drop dead and go to hell"
B4B - Fuck Fred Durst and the one with "I will never live like you" on the back
Discipline - AF boots
Polo shirt with "Skinhead" on the breast
Any Dayglo Abortions shirt

My "kill a celebrity" would usually get some weird looks. The worst looks come from my Eyehategod shirt.

BDx13 - 6-3-2010 at 07:01 PM

pretty much anything that says 'skinhead' on it is gonna get stares.
all the general public know are boneheads.

Discipline - 6-3-2010 at 07:19 PM

I've gotten into a few fights over the years for wearing skinhead gear, but I don't care.

BDx13 - 6-3-2010 at 08:32 PM

I wanted to make a BDC wifebeater that said "Punk Rock Princess" on one side and "I fuckin' love skinheads and I love to drink" on the other.
