Negative Approach

Holy crap is all I can say. Do not miss a chance to see them. Mind blowingly awesome, I felt like I was 14 again. Haven't felt like that at a hardcore show in a very long time.

ShawnRefuse - 6-22-2010 at 12:51 PM

the 3 songs I saw of them were amazing. Talked to John a bunch though, I am sure I will get to see them soon enough. I am jealous, man.

Now I feel the need to throw in one of the NA dvd's to worship at the altar of Brannon.

newbreedbrian - 6-22-2010 at 04:52 PM

Full set + 2 encores of pure grinding hate. I'm still reeling.

Jason the Magnificent - 6-22-2010 at 05:51 PM

Dude is legit out of his mind. Still nails it.

joey - 6-22-2010 at 08:24 PM

I heard they signed with Taang. Releasing some unreleased songs

Jason the Magnificent - 6-22-2010 at 08:32 PM

Taang still exists?

joey - 6-22-2010 at 08:38 PM

I was thinking the same thing.

Jason the Magnificent - 6-22-2010 at 08:39 PM

They have the Holloway Exorcist drawing up there so i guess it's true...but I can't think of the last thing they even put out...

MikeResist - 6-22-2010 at 10:27 PM

Yeah they have something coming out on Taang. I heard like a 6 cd release? I don't know how accurate that is though.

Dave - 6-23-2010 at 07:18 AM

This speaks for it all, it was a awesome show.

Track Listing for the Negative Approach record Taang! is putting out…

Friends of No One
Obsession
I Got a Right
Cargo Cult
Kiss Me, Kill Me
Genocide

JawnDiablo - 6-23-2010 at 10:22 AM

good vid footage.
Can't Tell Noone might be one of my favorite HC songs of all time.
Dude still nails it like J said.

Discipline - 6-23-2010 at 12:56 PM

If they put out something I hope it's older tracks. If NA tries to come up with something new this many years later it will be under such ridiculous scrutiny it will likely be shit on.

the Taang! 7" is gonna be old tracks.

newbreedbrian - 6-23-2010 at 02:05 PM

As far as I know the record is gonna be unreleased stuff from their last recording session just before they broke up.

JawnDiablo - 6-23-2010 at 02:55 PM

I dunno...I don't think the dude is capable of putting out something that would suck.

tireironsaint - 6-24-2010 at 12:01 AM

I don't think John Brannon could possibly be involved in something less than brilliant, but I read a recent interview where he talked about never writing or recording new songs with NA as he doesn't feel like it would be legitimate. He did hint that some new Easy Action stuff is in the works though and I can't fucking wait for that to happen. I'm honestly torn on the whole NA reunion stuff; on the one hand, I saw one of the early reunion shows and wouldn't trade that experience for much of anything, on the other hand, I really want Easy Action to get back to work!

The man is a genius. Three incredible bands and each with their own sound. I like the fact he doesn't want to write new stuff for NA because you can't capture that same feeling 30 years later. As for new Easy Action, the sooner the better. I listen to both EA albums at least a couple of times each on a weekly basis.

Just read this on wikipedia

"a total of 100 tracks were found .a ep / cd will be released for the first 6 tracks found from the discovery .
the remaining tracks will be compiled for a NEGATIVE APPROACH BOX SET . (this is the first noted box set ever issued from a Hardcore Band)"
