Best one he's done in years.

JawnDiablo - 6-23-2010 at 12:34 PM

I could never stand this guy. His voice drives me up the fucking wall.

Some Sabbath was ok.

BKT.

I'd say it's his best since No More Tears.

JawnDiablo - 6-23-2010 at 02:52 PM

No More Tears had some solid material on it.
Is Zak Wylde still his guitar player?

Spoiler - 6-23-2010 at 03:26 PM

no,Zakk is no longer in the band. Ozzy said that his albums were starting to sound to much like Black Label Society,so he hired a new guitarist.

Monkey_Julius_BoWaffle - 6-23-2010 at 05:50 PM

Firing Zakk was the best choice Ozzy's (errr, Sharon I mean :tumble:) has made in a long time. This new album is not blowing me away by any means, but it is growing on me and is definitely better than the last couple of albums.

it's a breath of fresh air for Ozzy, but the guitarist still sounds like Zakk.

That's the unfortunate part. However, the songs at least don't sound like terrible BLS D-sides so much this time around.

i really like the zakk wylde era ozzy stuff, but i absolutely hate everything that BLS has ever done (including those stupid ass biker vests they came out with that make douche bags think they are OMC at work)

that's mainly due to Kevin Churko.
